            I purchased and had installed an oil burning furnace from Daigle Plumbing and Heating on 9/10/2021. Unfortunately, now that the cold weather has set in, the furnace is not working. It runs 24/7 blowing cold air. We have space heaters in every room and a wood stove running around the clock. Daigle has a warranty which states the furnace must be serviced by Daigle in order to be valid. Daigle has refused to come out and service the furnace so we can have heat in the house. We are being forced to hire a heating specialist to service this furnace which will negate the warranty.

            I think this business is having major issues! They were referred to me by a friend as being a great company. My heating system/boiler needed it's annual tune up and I knew it had "issues". I called and scheduled an appt. in August, the first date confirmed for service, Sept. 1st, was days later changed to Sept 19th. The tech shut down the system due to the problems, leaving me without hot water, and after discussion with him decided to replace the unit. The following day the salesman came to confirm purchase/financing through them. A month later, the unit was installed. I still didn't have hot water, so the following week another tech came over and found a part was not installed which is why the was no hot water, and that's when I was told there was a permit opened for this service (didn't know this was needed) and it was up to me to call the inspector and schedule an appointment. Sept. 27th the inspector failed the work due to the oil line. I contacted the company and another appt. scheduled for Nov 2nd didn't happen until Nov 3rd first thing in the morning! As of today, Dec 7th, they are coming out again for another problem this system is having with something leaking. I am a widow, senior woman who is employed and has a full life. Anyone who knows me and of what I have been going through has said I am being taken advantage of, which is why I am contacting BBB. They schedule, then reschedule and make me feel as though I incorrectly noted service time and date(s). As for their financing, do not! All is done via e-docs on the salesman's tablet, and no copies of the agreement you are signing are available for viewing in your own private time. For over a month my credit report was incorrectly reporting what I was told I was signing for, to the very extreme of lowering my credit score. With receival of my first statement from the company they do financing through, it corrected the terms somewhat but not my credit score. The star should actually be a red goose egg!
