Peak Painters provided an estimate to do my house, garage, deck, trim work, and doors. They were supposed to have a team that once they started came everyday until it was done. After the first 2 days people stopped showing up and then we got different people that came and finished. I had to remove my mailboxes otherwise they were going to just paint around them and when I brought that to their attention they said it would be fixed but in one of the pictures below you can see the old color which is what is behind one of the mailboxes. They didn't even finish the job and then sent me an invoice. I reached out and they deducted $3000 from the original $13400 and I thought that was fair at first because a majority was done. This work started in Sept and you can see in the word doc attached (it is the email thread) that it wasn't completed in the time they said or at all. I would have left it alone but after the winter (no one had gone on the deck since they painted it) and it is already peeling. It looks like I need to stain it again and all that happened was snow. Clearly this cannot be two coats as was in the contract. I tried to contact them multiple times and have heard nothing back. I always want to give a business a chance to rectify their mistakes but since they refuse to reach out to me I am filing this complaint. Would love to either get the majority of my $$ back or have them just come out and finish the job (or pay someone else to). It is disgraceful what they did and that they care so little about their performance.
