I DO NOT recommend this company. Hopefully this will help someone else if you are looking to replace windows. I am not in Greenville, the company has an office in Columbia as well! They replaced our windows over 6 weeks ago and the installer told us to wait 2 days before hanging back up our blinds. When we went to put up our blinds the windows were recessed in too deep and there is no way to hang our blinds. We were never explained or told we could not hang blinds. We have contacted the company several times and spoke to Jon **** and he told me there is nothing they can do and they installed a functioning window. He has never been to my house or looked at my windows. Needless to say I have left a message for the owners of the company Mark and Karla ******* and are waiting on a response. I find it very hard to believe that everyone that gets replacement windows will not be able to have blinds and if that is the case this info should have been presented well before we agreed to the new windows. The windows are recessed too deep and are not even placed where the original windows were placed. We just want this problem fixed and in the mean time I would avoid this company at all cost! Taylors Window has been in business for over 30 years and has installed over a half of a million windows in SC. We pride ourselves in doing quality work with quality products. We do make mistakes but work diligently to alleviate the few that do happen. This case is no different. I normally refrain from responding to people that only hear themselves. In this case, I can't sit by and let someone blatantly lie about a situation. We have been super attentive to their concerns. We have made multiple trips and phone calls addressing their concerns. Like I said previously, you can't get through to someone who only hears themselves. First, the window blinds WILL go back up and we have made 2 trips to help them put the blinds back up at no additional charge, and were turned away. Second, the windows are EXACTLY where the old sash and balances were. Because the old windows were wood, you could put the brackets back into the working part of the jamb; however, you are not able to do with vinyl windows, ours or anyone else's vinyl 3 ¼" replacement window (the size of their original window pocket).
