            We engaged with this company to move our items from Portugal to the US (NC). On August 3rd, we were told that the estimated time between pick up from our place in Europe and delivery to the US was 4-6 weeks. However, our items were picked up on September 20th and they had not secured a spot on a vessel. Thus, the timeline was pushed back significantly, as it did not even get on a vessel until mid November. Again, the severity of these delays were not communicated until AFTER they had our money and our items. Nonetheless, it was scheduled to arrive in the US on November 28th and I was told that after it cleared customs, it would take 3-5 days for delivery (this was told in an email to me on November 15th). However, the shipment was allegedly held for a customs exam. The upak agent in the US (Kris) did not respond to my inquiries for over a week at which point I asked for an email from his supervisor. I still did not receive any documentation showing that it was stuck in customs and when I noted an interest in calling customs myself, they refused to provide the identifying information I would need to call. Which makes me question whether it was stuck in customs at all. Oddly enough, the same day I found the identifying information and said I would engage my state senator, the shipment was allegedly released from customs. I receive an email saying I would have to pay $300+ in customs fees in order to have the delivery scheduled. As I desperately need the items, I made the payment even though I still have not seen proof or what this charge consists of. I was told that the items would be picked up by the carrier by the 21st and delivered. Not only did this not happen, but the upak staff (Alica and Kris) refuse to respond to my emails about where my shipment is and when it will be delivered. So we have paid them and they have our money and our items with no answers to the questions at hand,
