      This business is the worst place to go to for buying cars and getting your car serviced! They are scammers. There rude and scam people out of money and they mess up peoples cars.

      Well I dropped my car off at McElveen of summerville this morning to have the airbag recall taken care of. Got it back with my dash cracked to **** and back. Also all the service airbags lights still on. They told me due to the age of the vehicle we aren't responsible for it. "2010" yes its older but taken care of. So pretty much since it was a recall that I didn't have to pay for I'm just out of luck. I work hard for what I have and pretty messed up a company as big as their can tear it up and just say oh well it's not our problem. I have photos of the damage as well.

      Good morning: I have been in contact with Ms. M**** via email and attempted to explain our company's position. My email and her response is below. I am happy to scan a copy of the email if you give me an address to do so.

      Good morning Ms. M****:

      I understand you brought your 2010 GMC Yukon into our dealership to have your passenger-side airbag replaced under warranty. I am attaching a copy of the repair order, which you signed at the time the repair was authorized. Please note item 2 which is a disclaimer stating that we are informing you as the customer that we are not responsible for any items which may break during the removal and installation of any items from recalls

      The reason for this disclaimer is that when installing airbags in older vehicles there is the possibility that the dash may crack. The dash sees the most sunlight and heat in a vehicle. This lends it to cracking and dryness. Your vehicle is 12 years old and already had cracks in the dash, as you acknowledged in your complaint to the Better Business Bureau. This is exactly the reason why the disclaimer is on your repair order at time of authorization so that you can make an informed decision before the work is completed.

      I believe Joe Perdue in our service drive also advised you of a few low cost options to use in the repair of your dash. He was truly trying to be helpful. To replace your entire dash would be costly, even if the parts could be found. Joe was attempting to help you repair the dash to avoid that cost.

      I'm sure you must understand that your dash was already beginning to show signs of damage with the existing cracks. It is simply unfair to ask the dealership to correct these problems when they were pre-existing and you signed a repair order advising you that damage could occur.

      I am truly sorry you are unsatisfied, but there is nothing further our dealership can do in this matter.

      Fuck you and your dealership !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me nor anyone in my family would ever do business with a company that will fuck up your property and be okay with it. I don't even believe they fixed the problem being all the airbag lights are on. Again FUCK YOU!!!!!

      When ****** ***** worked in the service department everything went pretty smooth but now that she no longer works there you can never get anyone to answer the phone or even call back on the same day I have spent months trying to get my sunroof repaired correctly and still trying ppl are rude and condescending I have used them exclusively since moving here but now looking for a new dealer for service and future sales
