    On August 28th I traded my 2018 Jeep Renegade for a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas from Hudson Nissan of North Charleston. Before 30 days were up, I had issues with the front and back brakes squealing and my steering wheel making grinding noises whenever I turned at low speeds. I brought the vehicle in on Sept 16 to be inspected and I was told nothing was wrong with the back brakes and that the front brakes needed new rotors. Not even a week later my brakes were still squealing and my steering wheel began making grinding noises when I turned at low speeds. I was given an appt. for Sept 22. I was told by my service advisor that I couldn’t have my vehicle looked at because no one was there to diagnose my vehicle. I was given another appt. for Sept 28, the day after my 30 days was up but I was told I wouldn’t have to pay for anything because I reported it before the thirty days. They took my vehicle back and couldn’t duplicate the noise but adjusted the backing plate. I was still having issues with the steering wheel and brakes and was given a new day to bring the vehicle in. They didn’t check the brakes but were able to duplicate the grinding noise and said it was the struts. I had those replaced and was assured that I wouldn’t have an issue again. Not even a week after, the noise was there again and my brakes were still squeaking in the front and back. I told my service advisor and was told he would talk to his manager and get back to me the next day. Two weeks later he told me his manager told said to take it to a Volkswagen dealership instead of bringing it back to them. I did take it there and was told my front brake pads, back rotors and pads, and steering rack needed to be replaced and my hood cable was broken and needed to be repaired. I notified my service advisor and sent him the quote. I just received a call that the warranty company wouldn’t pay for the brakes to be fixed but was working on the steering rack. I am being ignored by Hudson Nissan and I need help.

    Very greedy scam artists here. We chose to finance a Kia Sedona through **** *** because they offered us a better rate (7.3% at 72 months). We brought in our promissory note/check from Navy Fed to Hudson Nissan for $7500. The vehicle we intended to purchase was listed at $7156, we took the price to Navy Fed to get approved, so we KNEW we were covered. Hudson Nissan called Navy Fed for a verification code, but Navy Fed would not verify the loan. Hudson then tried to sell us THEIR finance package at 10% PLUS a down payment and shorter loan term (meaning way higher monthly payments). So we go back to Navy Fed to see why they aren’t verifying the loan. Turns out, it’s because they will not finance a loan that’s more than 125% of the car’s value. That’s right- HUDSON NISSAN had massively tried to overcharge us on the vehicle, plus force us into using their own financing. This after sitting there for the better part of 6 hours. My husband had just been hit in an accident one week prior and our only car was totaled. We were in a rental, and only had limited time to secure a vehicle. This greedy company knew this and didn’t have the decency to do right by us. DO NOT USE HUDSON NISSAN!!!! Very unprofessional and all they care about is their bottom line.
