    I purchased my used car, a Mazda CX-5, on September 30, 2022, at Mazda of Bedford dealership. Since then, I have driven approximately 8000 miles, and on June 28, 2023, I had a service appointment where the technician concluded that I needed to replace the rear brake pads and rotors. On the day of purchase, the inspection sheet shows very generic information on LF 6, RF 6, LR 6, and RR 6, which looks like the brakes met the minimum standard. However, after 8,000 miles, it got so bad that I had to replace the LR and RR brake pads and rotors and paid out-of-pocket $468.61. That is why I became very suspicious about the quality of the dealership's inspection before selling the vehicle. With this concern, I have already called the Manager of Used Cars at Mazda of Bedford and left two voice messages that have not been returned. Since my multiple inquiries were ignored, I went to the dealership and confronted the Manager with the same question. He said he didn't understand my voice messages and decided not to respond, but apparently, we had clear communication when I was buying the car. Furthermore, he said that my vehicle passed the inspection for minimum requirements, and he was not responsible for the brake condition. This is a clear example of an apparent lack of ethical integrity and respect for customers! I have complained to Mazda North America Headquarters' Corporate office two times, but they can't interfere with the dealership because the Mazda of Bedford is an independent business. I think the dealership didn't service the brakes before selling, and my subsequent expenditure will be to repair the front brakes. I am seeking repair and a refund of $468.61. Please understand that the quality of the certified inspection is the key to customers' safety. Therefore, not returning my phone calls makes me doubt the dealership's integrity and reputation. I am complaining to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) about its practices to prevent tragic consequences.

    The majority of this falls on Michael ****** for being a snake. We negotiated a down payment in which I included an additional $4 to make it $1144 so the monthly payment was a nice even number. This clown gets my signature then adds a line to make it $1444, so when I go into the finance office to sign papers and make payments I discover this. It was not negotiated, although I was supposed to have a service package included that came out to roughly that much so I thought it was ok. Turns out that service package was NOT issued, which was a surprise when I went for service, and then ultimately this idiot took another $300 from me. On another visit I was told that the low quality car jack that was included and bent under the vehicles own weight may not be covered (as if I can choose where I break down? are you kidding?). Brakes went bad quickly, I was advised it was because I didn't lube my brake guides and that I needed it every 14,000 miles. Brake guides were perfectly fine FYI. Lastly, they couldn't service my car in a timely manner and accrued so much rust on 1 wheel that it permanently damaged the wheel, and allegedly fried the parking brake as well. It's just one stupid thing after another with this gang. 100% glad I am free from their terror and working with another dealership. The only team members that weren't a complete waste is the receptionists and the dogs.
