      This is the second time I have had to file a complaint. This company is awful and qualified customer service is non existent. Had to file a report to get back my 274.00.. kicker is I was left a message that they were deducting my current balance which was not past due From the 274.00 I was owed. So, okay fine whatever and then they will mail me a ck for the remainder. Which I still have to receive. Today I logged onto my online banking and DE still took the auto payment even tho it was taken from my deposit. After another call and a supervisor “they use a 3rd party for auto pay so it doesn’t recognize a zero balance??? What?? Anyways she said she could refund the monies and I thought it would go back to my account but no they have to mail me a ck!! After 3 1/2 months of nonsense it is more of the same. All they had to do was refund me the 274.00 that was 3 months past due to me but no they had to deduct my balance which was not due only to then have the same amount taken from autopay for the same Amount they had deducted prior to a due date. I can’t believe any of this is legal. This company cheats and lies to consumers.. its not about the money anymore it’s the principal of being able to lie, deceive consumers to DE TO KEEP your money and try hard not to return the funds!! I have never dealt with issues and everyone is clueless. ASK FOR A MANAGER OR AN EMAIL FOR THE CEO.. Doesn’t exist!! How do they get away with this abuse of consumers? Mirella

      I bought a trailer that needs to be fixed up I called to set up service before it gets cold figured if I didn’t use the service I would half to pay for it . Boy was I wrong 40+$ min service charge and a security deposit on top of that the security deposit I can understand but as a new customer and first time homeowner you think they would half to explain that their is a minimum service charge. I use 0 gas and have been getting charged 75$ a month I called to cancel it was told if I cancel it and restart with in 6 months that their would be a reconnection fee so I’m screwed either way. I hate this company

      I also got charged a $40 service fee for 10 days after I moved out. Customer service and even their supervisor said they had no record of me requesting to stop service when I did a month prior in their own website under my account. The page is still in my browser history. There's clearly a larger, well-organize scam going on here that should be investigated.

      I agree with those people who are complaining about the $40 service fee. My research shows small increments, a &1.25 to $1:50 extra a month being approved by the PUC numerous times. and last time it showed anything was around 2021. so between 21 and today which is 20 August 2023. how did it jump by those amounts up to $40 of service building? when is the PUC going to realize that all these areas Dominion wants to put new pipelines in 99% of the areas aren't in our areas that were paying this charge for. and if they feel that they are give some proof and some justification area town by town by town on what Dominion is spending this money on. a breakdown per se. I just don't want this money going into the bonuses of their executives or replacing the bonuses of their executives and shareholders. give us some proof to justify $40 extra a month on our bills please.

      I've been paying my bill online for years. This month, the system keeps giving me an error message. I reached out for assistance. Instead of getting help, the rep instructed me how to create a online profile so that I can pay my bill online.

      Fraudulent charges for service fees when not using any services at all then if shut off wants you to wait to turn it back on and fraudulent charges you another security deposit

      I was blatantly lied to... Dominion moved our house's account out of our name in error- for whatever reason. A random woman was put on the account, and we assumed all was well since we have all our bills on auto pay. Fast forward a few months, and a Dominion minion is at our house to turn the gas off.. We told them no and that we would sort it out. I called and got the utility back into my name as it should have been the whole time. ON A RECORDED CALL, a Dominion rep informed me we would not be on the hook for the months billed to this random woman in error. A month after this, we got a bill for almost a thousand dollars that they now say we have to pay. 1. YOU MOVED THE SERVICE OUT OF OUR NAME IN ERROR 2. YOU TOLD US WE WOULD NOT BE ON THE HOOK FOR THIS 3. YOU HEARD THE CALL STATING ALL THIS AND CHOSE TO IGNORE IT Please do yourself a favor and take your service elsewhere. They do not care about service or you- just doing the minimum to get by and steal your money.

      Extremely unprofessional company. I have tried calling, and calling, and calling to set up service and the system is always down. It gives the option to set up service online, but when I go to set up service online, it doesn't work and says they can't verify my address and to call the support number. Then, again, I call the support number and it either hangs up on me after waiting on hold, or I get sent to a voicemail and the voicemail box is full, or I just get a busy signal. Such an unprofessional company. Now, I am trying to set up an appointment for someone to come out, and I get sent to a voicemail that says "Sorry, we're closed, our ours of operation are 7am to 7pm EST, please call back during our business hours" even when it's 5pm and 6pm EST. Worst customer service. Additionally, Dominion energy forces you to use them as your supplier for up to 3 billing cycles and charge you more than twice the going rate for utilities because they know that you have no choice. You have to go and create an account with them, which doesn't work as described above, you call and can never speak to anyone, and then when you finally are able to speak to someone you have to pay them OUTRAGEOUS prices for three months before you are able to switch to a different company. This company is a complete scam.

      Dominion East Ohio, I'm sorry im reviewing this company but I am married. If I call to sort out a bill as a spouse of your customer, I should beable too. The fact you refuse me to sort out the bill when im the payee, in my husbands absence, is a direct insult, so who am I to care if your paid at this point. Maybe you should include in your billing sign up for spouses to be included as payee's instead of having your bills put off because you refuse a spouse to pay a bill. Just giving input after a recent call when I tried to pay you but I was refused without some stupid authorization when i've been married 16 years and attending my husbands bills the entirety of our marriage.

      Gas got turned off. Called & they said they made attempts to tell us but have no dates of when. Can’t speak to upper management. Fining is for not answering the door when they came. They have a dated call and I asked for other attempts since we didn’t answer but they can’t give dates. They won’t waive the fee because of their “attempts.” Fine with me because PUCO is my next call.
