On 7/22/21 I ordered kitchen countertops through ********* ******* ****** on behalf of ******* Stone. The invoice costs are not broken down but simply as a total of $2958.00 and lists the following: 1-********** ***** ****** countertop with Pencil Round Edge but NO backsplash. Also: 2--single sink, the installation of that sink but NO plumbing. And finally, 3--the cutout (that I was going to use as a cutting board). The cutout was a specific request. On 10/11/21, ******* Stone's rep measured for the countertop and again I mentioned I wanted the cutout. On 10/19 I received *******'s email asking me to reply if the layout was accurate and to notify Morgan if I had any concerns. I approved the layout and sent an email to morgan@*******-stone.com with a reminder that the cutout was to be saved...not dumped. On 10/26 the countertop was installed but no cutout. The installer contacted his supervisor and he relayed the message that the cutout would be delivered at a later date. After countless phone calls and emails over the next two months, I finally received an email on 12/29/21 from ******* ****** of ******* ***** saying if I want a cutout, it will cost an additional $65. My original July invoice lists the cutout and a grand total. Not one time from the original order, to the measuring and installation did anyone say, by the way, the cutout will cost extra. It took 5 months for ******* ****** to decide if I want the cutout bad enough, I'll have to pay more. Now in 2022, I would prefer the cutout but will accept a $65 refund. I'm willing to accept a refund or delivery of the cutout just to finally sever communication with this company who has changed their story from "we don't provide cutting board cutouts, to yes, we can make cutting board cutouts for $65."
