    * I was referred to this company by ***** **** ********* to help with sewage overflow in my basement. * I spoke to the Business Development Representative, ****** ******* who scheduled service on 11/9/22. * Two men arrived at my residence and proceeded to start the cleanup after I provided my signature on the contract. * Less than ten (10) minutes into the cleanup, I was called to the basement and informed the service could not continue because I was still experiencing a sewage backup in the basement. The workers advised me to call a plumber to repair the backup and then cleaning service would come back out to perform the job. * The workers stated they would shovel up the large sewage and place in a plastic bag. This was completed in a few minutes, and the bag of waste was left in my basement. No sewage was ever removed from the basement. I had a plumber come out and repair the backup. The plumber charged $200.00 for repair and cleanup. * I never again contacted Platinum Restoration for services. I was called a couple of times by the business manager to resume service, but never agreed for them to return. * I was later contacted by the financial department, I was told that I was being charged for 3.6 hours of service, then later told the company did not charge by the hour. I advised the representative I would pay for a trip charge, but not for services never completed. I was told that workers performed cleanup for 40 minutes and the charge was $852.36. * When I told the representative, I paid another service for cleanup because they did not provide the service, she stated that I had a backup after they came out because her company provided cleanup. This would not be possible for her to know because no one from her company ever returned to my home. No follow up was done as needed if a sewage cleanup was done as required by most companies. I paid this company because I received a call threatening to place a lien on my property for non payment.

    Platinum Restoration was absolutely amazing to work with! They hung in there with me for 3 years until I settled my suit with Universal Windows Direct. I had one room that needed to be restored - not a major project except to me. Travis updated my estimate a few times as the cost of materials and labor went up. Then we were finally able to start working on the room. I worked with Travis to schedule the clean up (remediation) and once that was scheduled Kevin got his team in and Mike was polite and explained everything they were doing. They did it quickly and cleaned up nicely. Two very nice, polite young men. They then got started putting the room back together quickly. Larry, my job manager, gave me suggestions on where to pick the paneling/planks for the walls. He is also very knowledgeable with decorating as well and gave me some great suggestions on how to finish off the room. Ruben was the first to come in and insulate the room. He work extremely hard and did a great job. He was very polite, friendly, and outgoing. Henry and Nick put up the planks, mudded the drywall and shortened a very awkward, stubborn mantel. These guys again were super friendly, very polite, very efficient, and did an excellent job. Nick finished up the job by finishing up the drywall and painting it. I was very comfortable coming and going from my house when I had appointment and spending a good part of a couple days upstairs in my room because I was sick. My room looks AWESOME! I am so excited to have family and friends over to a room that is now completed and looks so great. It has only taken 3 years and Platinum Restoration has been there the whole way. I can't thank them enough.
