Worst mortgage servicer ever! We are unfortunately using them as our servicer because we were first time homebuyers and they were our best option at the time. They never communicate with you, they waste your time, and getting an agent on the phone is almost impossible most times. When you do get an agent, they're absolutely no help to you at all. They don't even send you notices until it's too late or in the case of potential foreclosure, it's in the paper for everyone to see (and then you find out about it). Miscommunication is very real with this place. Avoid this place if you can-its best to go to a lender you can actually talk to face to face.Review from Kenon B

We have our mortgage through Nations. They made the mistake of paying the wrong taxes with our escrow account. This put us in the negative for our escrow by a five figure amount. They then forgot to pay our property taxes and were delinquent for quite some time. Now they've decided to report to the credit bureaus that our loan value has increased since our escrow is so overdrawn. I've had so many calls with them to fix everything, each time I have to go back through the problem and ask them what they're doing to fix it. They never have an answer, they never communicate, and care zero about the issues this has done to our credit and ability to sell our property. They're beyond frustrating and seem to have zero competent people working for them. Please do not use them. Their rates are mediocre at best, their service is awful, and overall their new website design is junk. It's amazing they're still in business. I'm usually one to give people time to correct their mistakes, but we are now at week 13 and they're still not there yet. Wish there was a zero star option as that's what they truly deserve. Please use caution when considering dealing with this place as they do not care about you and have zero reason to.Review from Gregory K

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I processed a payment in February, called and confirmed that payment was submitted. The rep on the phone told me that everything was good and to wait for the payment to leave my account. I later checked my bank account and the money didn't come out. I called into customer service and a manager said that it was my fault and the payment didn't come through. I was told there was a late fee and my account was reported to the credit bureau. I have not had a single missed payment for the entirety of the loan. There was no call or email to let me know that was going on. Lisa (badge # 14631) proceeded to get into a shouting match with me over the phone and then transferred me to someone else that couldn't do anything for me. Who went on to tell us that the information Lisa gave bad information regarding the escalation process. Again, the solution that Lisa we should have done, despite being told that the payment was processed, was to PROCESS A FULL MORTGAGE PAYMENT AGAIN. Mind you this was not the recommendation when we called in. How does this make sense? Worst, customer service ever.Review from Christy O

If I could leave no stars I would! I never even opened a loan with them and they deposited money into my savings account. How did they even get my bank information??? I never signed anything and never wanted a loan with them!Review from Carmen G

If I could give no stars, I would. Awful company to work with. Our current loan officer does not respond and does not care one bit about helping his clients, his boss over him does not either. All we’ve tried to do is refinance and nobody will help us. Requested a new loan officer and nobody will help us. Currently working with another mortgage company to hopefully get out from under nations lending run around constantly.Review from Kathy J

I was working with someone named Johnathon and he tried to say I asked him to buy done the points but that wasn’t true. He also told us he didn’t know who Xactus is - and that is the company that helps them verify information to do loans. So I pulled everything away. I don’t feel I can trust a company who has people that are not truthful. I stopped the loan process before the closing. Be cautious of a company that changes $14,000 to buy down points.Review from Carole S

I was looking for a short term loan. Received an email that said that i needed to sign in to see agreement. I logged into the site, it didn't show that I had a loan application- on the following Monday I had money appear in my account that I not only did not authorize but didn't even know the terms. This should be illegal. I am now trying to get a hold of someone to pay off the "loan"- (apparently I have $158 payments where only $2.05 go to the principle each month). I will not be paying $8000 for $500 loan- that I would not have authorized.Review from Vanessa P

My credit was run without my approval or SIGNATURE and hit my credit as a hard inquiry. I've tried multiple times to reach out to both corporate and loan officer to have this removed as I am unable to dispute on my end and have has no success in getting this resolved. Be cautious!Review from Leon B

I don't even know where to start. We started this process a year ago with Nations Lending and it has been nothing but a rollercoaster nightmare. We were first time home buyers and learning what all that means. Looking for Nations Landing to guide us in the right direction. All they did was jerk us around for months. We worked hard to be able to purchase a home. It was always something that would come up the day of closing the week of closing asking for more and more documents the credit score pulling and then ask why the score dropped a few points. We had been through this so many times with Nations Lending getting a closing date having it pushed back because it was one thing or another we started asking ourselves if they had money to lend. We have lost money with inspection after inspection because we were told things were missing from the file the day or the day before closing and sellers don't have to wait for the buyer. Asked to push more earnest money and that is always a risk. Over the summer we dug our heels in not to accept anymore of Nations Lending crap we had one final shot at a house we had been looking at. As usual we were super close. Then we got the call we had been waiting for it was safe to give our landlord notice we would be moving, we jumped for joy that would only be short lived. 24 Hours before closing oops something is missing from the file. Now we need to hunt and work magic sitting on pins and needles waiting for a letter to come in the mail here we go now we are going to push back the closing date again. The letter comes 2 days before closing send the letter and then get the heart aching phone call The letter is not good enough your loan is denied and just like that no place to stay, Loan is denied. We went to a new lender with the same information that Nations Lending had the very same day they looked over it and said this is doable and we closed on our house in just a few weeks. Advice find a lender you can look in the face and the eyes.
