We were shown a apartment on 12/27/2022 and filled out the application and paid the fees which totaled to $60. It wasn’t even 24 hours later we were notified our application was approved. I then asked where they were located and I would bring the money but I was 50 mins away from where they were located. Took a picture of the check at the bank on my way there and sent it so they knew I was coming and also texted and let them know I was on my way. She messaged me 10 mins before I got there telling me someone else was there paying the deposit! They had already approved others before us but in the message told me I could bring payment anytime that day until 3pm or the following day until 11am. Then messaged me a hour later and said it’s a first come first serve basis which was never told to me or I would have went that morning but instead as soon as she told me that I informed her I was on my way right then and there! So I paid 2 application fees one for me and one for my son who I was co signing for. I also had to pay a $5 fee for the money order for their business and I’m glad I didn’t end up getting a cashiers check with their name on it or I would have been out $595.00 very poor way to do business!
