They did the work on my chimney, as well as installing a burner and log set. By the time the log set came in it was Spring. Next fall went to use the fireplace and there was a lot of soot on the logs. Called ***** and he said he would come out and look at it. Was a no show. Spoke to him again, but told him to wait as my husband was on oxygen. My husband passed away, so I called him again to see what the problem was with the soot. He told me that the burner was defective, per the place that he had bought the burner from and that they were sending him another one. Few more months passed and called him to see what was going on with burner. Told me the company said that it wasnt the burner that they had looked at the wrong order and would not replace the burner. Then he told me that her would replace the burner at his own cost, just waiting for it to come in. Few more months passed. Called him said he would come out, that he had the burner, no show at least 3 times (lost count). Was cleaning soot of firebox, as he was suppose to show up, but when I started to clean up above the firebox on a ledge there was all kings of debris and a lot of soot. It had been a wood fireplace, but I had it switched over to propane at the time he did the work on it. After he did the work he never cleaned it. His worker had done a camera inspection, so they had to know how dirty is was. Called him and left a message of what I found, he hasnt called me back. Its been 2 1/2 years at a cost of $5100. I am calling a different company to clean the fireplace as I am sure that this is the reason for so much soot. So all he would have had to do 2 years ago was to show up, then he would have known what the problem was, but no he had to be a no show. Of all the times he was a no show he only called me once to say that he couldnt come.
