I have no idea who these people are or why they are calling and leaving me recorded messages every day. I called and she wanted my name and address to verify my account. Nope. None of my accounts are in default and I have nothing ever to come from them in the mail.Review from Kirsten D

This company called me several times on a debt that I explained to them was including in a bankruptcy filing. Aside from just the unprofessional attitude the lady stated that since that wasn't the information they had they would continue trying to collect and put it on my credit report. I asked her to please send me what they had so that I could give them the information in writing including the bankruptcy information that shows the debt was included and she never sent me anything. I gave her all the bankruptcy information and when she said it didn't matter I asked for a supervisor which she refused. Now it is on my credit report and I have to work with Transunion to dispute it and have it removed.Review from Rhonda I

Work at a business. Receive DAILY recorded messages from Gen Revenue Corp. Have called them numerous times, have been advised of who it is they are attempting to reach, and in return have advised them that this is a business, there is no one here by that name and we have no clients with that name. Every time I am told that "we just removed your number". This has been going on for over six months.Review from Kruse Energy Equipment

Everyday @ 12:23 pm I receive a call from this number xxxxxxxxxxx General Revenue. If I answer it is a recording stating "this call is meant for (followed by a) beep, beep, beep. If I let it go to voicemail it is the same incomplete statement. This has been going on since October 4th, 2021. Frequently the call is repeated, in succession, 3, 6 and today 11 times. I called back today and asked them to remove our number as it is a Business Number and the man I spoke with wanted information and I would not give it to him. I think they are trying to get info to then ****** the business and get a name that works here to say they owe something. SCAM!!!Review from Hercules A.

Spoke with a representative named **** who told me that I had until the 3rd of August to pay the settlement amount of $1,303.90 or else my account would be reported to the credit bureaus. After speaking to **** on the 27th of July he told me that he made an error and that the amount had to be paid on July 30th, 2021. I paid the balance yet I was reported to the credit bureau on August 3rd in the amount of ******. My credit score has dropped significantly and has left me in jeopardy of not closing on my home. due to their inadequacy.Review from Bruce S

Lying, Thieving Good-for-Nothings!They called me attempting to trace my adult son-even though my phone is on the do not call list for the federal government-- and even though I have no business relationship with their ethically challenged firm.No apology and a quick hang up until I called back and demanded a supervisor--who had no idea that to call my number was unethical and violated both the Privacy Act and the Do not call list--- when asked if they scrubber their list-- she informed me that they had marked me as a "do not call" but no recognition or admission that they had an obligation to pre-scrub their dialer list prior to calling.I have made a referral to the **** and to my state's Attorney General- *************** These un-ethical scum need to be put out of business-- if EVERYONE they improperly contacted were to complain--they be GONE as they need to be.Review from Linda

This company does not do their due diligence before contacting someone for debt collection. How on earth did they get my fianc's phone number when I'm not even associated with the person they are looking for? Sure, I have the same name (well, my maiden name), but NOTHING else is the same. My phone number, address, social. ****. This should be a crime..... if ANYTHING hits my credit report I will be ****..... and I'm not *** happy, but I will ***. *****... don't mess with my credit because you are too lazy to do your job. I was accused of going into default by a different loan program after telling them I couldn't afford payments for about 2-3 months, sent my debt here and now they're charging me over double the monthly cost even after confirming I couldn't afford it.Recently I discovered that not only is this supposed "default" never reported to credit bureaus violating the *** guidelines but also neither the original acc nor this have been reported. I genuinely believe I was somehow scammed into this, as I can't find any legal website confirming I have ever owed money to either of these groups! Warning to all - don't fall for what I fell for!
