Sims-Lohman was the installer chosen by a company we chose for our kitchen countertop project. They mis-cut the quartz, but installed it anyway, with the result that we can't use our cooktop or hook up the plumbing. The installers tried to pass it off as "supposed to look that way" and "happens all the time, just needs minor adjustments" but later had to admit that the whole thing needs to be replaced. However, the quartz we chose is no longer available. Sims-Lohman sent us a list of colors with no prices, but when we chose one told us it was too expensive. When we asked for a list of acceptable colors the only response we received was that they were "trying to get it for us." It's now been a month since we've had a working kitchen. Some of their people are very nice and professional, but their Quality Control is untrustworthy, some of their installers are dodgy, and their management is difficult to contact and slow to respond.Review from Jody R

We had a kitchen island installed, purchased from **** *****. Over the last two years, large circles have appeared that look like dark grease stains on my 14 ft. island. At first I thought it was something we had done, but have realized there were about eight of these circles in a pattern. Some of the stains are obvious and some faint, but clearly not natural and obviously there before install because of the half circle placement where the seem is located. After researching, the stains are from suction cups used to move granite. Sims Lohman had to know this was an issue and installed anyway. Sims Lohman will do nothing to help us or replace the granite as they told **** *****.
