Day after day, hand fulls of Black patrons walk into this beauty supply store and spend their hard earned money. The owners, an Asian man and woman, do not like Black people. They can be heard speaking ill of their patrons amongst each other and when you need help they will refer you to their Black employee rather assist you themselves. To a point that the woman has walked away from me while I was asking a question, pointing back and saying, “no, ask her” because apparently, she didn’t want to help me find an item inaccessible to the customer floor. Don’t spend your money here. We are in a time that people seem to forget that our money is not a race. But will show open hate for our people while still taking our money and even worse, don’t care it they lose it....until they realize how our money truly aids in the success of their businesses. Imagine spending your hard earned money with a business who knows that they are in a strong market and use you to gain financial security but believes that very market is an entire race of thieves, liars and criminals....imagine you, not aware that the above beauty Supply stores are being ran, owned and operated by Queens that look like you and know exactly what they are selling AND can actually assist you with your BLACK hair needs. Stop supporting what you know and start moving that money to our communities and our businesses. See if our skin matters as much when all the brown folks start spending within our own.
