      On 10/24/2023 I delivered my 2010 Subaru Outback 3.6R to the dealership for it's annual winter service. I have owned this car since 2012 when I purchased it certified used with 48,000 miles acumulated. The vehicle now has 193,787 miles. I routinely have the vehicle serviced every 6 months. Every spring, every fall. Expecting the proactively requested services by me ON 10/24/23 to amount to $1,000 (approx). The actual estimate was $1,333.00. The service department over the course week informed me of several urgent and necessary repairs needing to be done bringing the total repair bill to $3, 088.16. Of the revised total 64% ($1,984.27) were for items I had brought to the attention of the staff previously for the past year and a half specifically: ** loose "mushy" brake pedal requiring driver to push pedal to the floor to stop. [SAFETY ISSUE]. Issue had been serviced 3X previously. ** loud "clicking" noise behind dashboard. Most noticable when HVAC unit is in use. NOTE: Customer believed issue was occuring after service technician incomptently failed to replace the brake fliud reservior after "flushing" the brake system to alleviate the [SAFETY ISSUE] noted above. ** service technician noticed a failed suspension lateral arm link to the suspension NOT PREVIOUSLY NOTICED ON ANY PRIOR SERVICES PROVIDED OVER THE PAST YEARS. [SAFETY ISSUE] ADDITIONALLY: service staff advised me to not "touch" the exhaust system as it could "fall off" due to rusted and corroded condition. Expected repair cost = $3,000. THIS HAD NOT BEEN MENTIONED TO OWNER IN ANY PREVIOUS SERVICE CALL(s) OVER THE YEARS OF PRIOR SERVICES. Parts do not rust & corrode over night, nor in just the past 6 months over the previous services, nor in or in the past year of services, or in the past 2 years of services. ** certified technicians consistently misdiagnose, misrepair, misservice vehicle(s) ** dealership and it's certified technicians have FAILED to diagnose, repair SAFETY ISSUES

      I bought two cars here and overall very good experience. My 2020 purchase of a new car was somewhat spoiled when in early 2022 while still under warranty my Outback's keys both stopped working intermittently. They changed out the batteries but it has never stopped the problem. We called management who said call Subaru. We called manufacturer, this was difficult: took 3 calls to get a real person to help. They are now sending us back to Subaru dealership when the problem with defective keys started long before warranty ended and it is both keys on the same car, which seems like something is not being detected properly. Never thought I would complain about my Subaru, but this defective key thing leaves me locked out, unable to start my car over and over again -- it is quite discouraging.

      Gary F*** in the Finance department is abusive, frightening, unsanitary, and overall unpleasant. He lied and tried to defraud us by changing numbers. When he could not sell a warranty he began screaming "LET ME DO MY JOB" - a complete nut. Avoid at all costs. Bought a new 2021 Ascent Touring and they didn't even fill with gas - trashy dealership all around.
