 Morningstar Head of Global Client Service David GoesElected to BBB Board of Directors

CHICAGO - April 20, 2017 – David Goes, Head of Global Client Service for Morningstar, Inc., was elected to the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau serving Chicago and Northern Illinois at the organization’s March board meeting. Better Business Bureau board members are responsible for overseeing the direction of the organization and its strategies, as well as conferring with the executives responsible for day-to-day operations of the BBB.

Goes leads Morningstar’s global client service organization, and is responsible for delivering a differentiated and exceptional client experience, leading 450 team members in 27 countries. 

He joined Morningstar in 2006 as senior vice president of strategic accounts. He also served as senior vice president of buy side solutions for North America, leading the development of the firm’s institutional equity and credit research business. Before joining Morningstar, Goes held management positions for six years with Ibbotson Associates, based in New York City, and Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.   

Goes graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Ind., and currently resides in New Lenox, Ill.
