New BBB Study Finds Midwesterners Value Trust in Business
Even More than Other Regions

CHICAGO - Never have we seen a time where trust has become more important. In a new study released today, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) found that 82% of consumers in the United States report that it is important to trust a business before buying products or services.

The “BBB Trust Sentiment Index,” based on research conducted by Nielsen, also reveals that Midwest consumers are even more diligent in checking out the trustworthiness of a business before any transaction can take place.

Chicago and Northern Illinois President and CEO Steve Bernas says, “This detailed research is the latest in a series of in-depth studies BBB is conducting that provides eye opening insights for both businesses and consumers, and thus, continues to drive forward our overall mission of establishing trust in the marketplace.”
