      Sold me a system for 80/month but didnt tell me that amount was temporary. After six months my payment tripled. Im a retired 70 year old woman on social security. They refuse to make this right. Its a scam just to get you to buy their system.

      system is way over priced and does not work like they said it was supposed to. Lifetime warranty is a joke and I hate it. Dont buy one check out other systems first

      Our dealer in ******* has reached out to the customer in order to schedule a service appointment. Based on their records, the filters on the reverse osmosis haven't been changed since the system was installed in 2021. It is our understanding the customer is on well water, so yearly maintenance is recommended. RainSoft ****************

      Being new homeowners we were pressured and really tricked into thinking our water was poisonous. After having this system for a little over a year we already have to pay for repairs on top off still having to pay for this scam system. Do not buy this Rainsoft product. Go with another company. Only having this system for a year I shouldnt have to pay $245.00 to fix a product that should not be broken. I want this system removed from my house and the rest of my contract canceled. I should be refunded. This company is a scam company and ran horribly, with a horrible product that you will have to keep paying to fix motors when they should not be broken.. DONOT do buisness with Rainsoft.

      We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We reviewed the complaint with our distributor in ******* and the customer was installed 1 year, 8 months ago. The equipment has a lifetime warranty on parts, but unfortunately there would be a charge for the service call. For removal of the equipment, the customer would need to address this with the company who sold and installed the system. RainSoft ****************

      I put in a Raffle at *********** A few weeks later, I get a call saying I won a $25 dollar gift card, something I never received. They get into a conversation about getting our water tested, they schedule an appointment for the next day.. lady comes to test our water to say its unhealthy to drink, cook and wash with. She goes over the paperwork with my husband after being approved. After that, we was told someone would be coming to install it. Day later a man comes, he installed it.. after a month, we noticed the bottom of the toilet was turning black, and the tub was turning yellow. We contacted them multiple times, left soo many messages for them to uninstall it. Finally someone calls back, my husband tells them that we want them to remove the system, instead! They sends someone over. And the guy tells us that, he was told that we needed it to be fixed as if we was having problems with it. We told him, we wanted them to take it out of our home. They never taken it. We been going back and forth with them for the past 4 months. Finally on Tuesday October 17th, someone called. My husband told them Will someone will be removing the system, the guy told him, that they cant remove it after 3 days. Sooo confusing. Because the lady that came to sign us up, she NEVER MENTIONED THAT TO US. RAINSOFT is a scam. I dont believe our water was as toxic as they say it was. It was only to get ppl to sign up to rip everyone off. Please send someone to remove it.!

      We reviewed the following complaint with our local distributor and have been assured the customer's equipment is working properly as the water tested 0-hardness the last time it was tested. Our dealer also stated there is a three day right of rescind per ******** law and are left a copy of this notice upon completion of the sale. We ask the customer to please feel free to call us at #************** with any questions regarding the performance of their RainSoft unit.

      Worst customer service. Spent around an hour on their **** number without any success. Only music, no message, no one to pick up the phone.

      I purchased the water softener whole house system. I've tried to purchase parts #***** and ***** and was told to contact my local dealer. I contacted my local and was told that I had to pay $120 for service call plus $89 for the parts I need, plus only the technicians had the parts I need on their vehicle but none for retail sales. I left a voice message for the manager on 3/21/2023 after speaking with a representative. I was also told that there is a shortage of parts at Rainsoft. I contacted the office in IL back but still haven't received a message at the writing of this review. If you need a water softener system don't purchase this one.

      We checked with our dealer in ******* regarding this matter and have been assured it has been amicably resolved. Unfortunately, we did run into a supply chain issue last month for this particular part which slowed our production down for a few weeks. As a manufacturer we work very hard to avoid these types of issues, but at times there are circumstances that out of our control. Regards. RainSoft ****************

Very polite, fast, and thorough with explanation! He definitely went above and beyond with his service. Thank you again! Cant wait to enjoy our new water system.

      AGGRESSIVE sales tactics FORCED to quickly sign due to a limited time offer BLINDLY signed paperwork with only the promise of numbers given by the salesmen of accurate interest rates FALSE expectations of customer service Being the naive first time home buyers we regretfully purchased a Rain Soft System. We had already spent a huge chunk of our finances getting into ************* and to make it a home. One day while shopping for at home we were stopped in ********** with a promise of a gift card and a free home water test. This seemed innocent enough and we agreed to have someone come into our home. Using techniques we didnt understand we were convinced our water was unsafe to drink and had no other option but to purchase the thousand of dollars product. Scared for our health we signed, putting us into a financial contract we had not been given full details on and was actually led to believe our interest rate would be much lower. We did not realize we would be putting ourselves into debt for eleven years for a water softener system when there are much affordable options out there. We have tried to get in touch with customer service and no luck they have been on holiday for what seems like a month. We are happy to have paid what has been deducted thus far but just want the full system taken back and refund us for the remainder of the contract.

      I regret entirely buying a system. customer service is great, But the system is horrible. Ive had it less than 2 years and its been a constant issue. over and over again it experiences motor one failure and Ive pretty much had it. Definitely too much money for a system that doesn't work.

It appears the problem has been caused by wasps that have built nests (out of dirt) in the control valve.       Yearly service completed yesterday at a cost of over $300, which included a gas fee of $10, never encountered this before. Today our main bathroom water is black. Called customer service to request they come out and correct the problem. I was told next available appointment was in 5 days. Explained we have company from out of state and need this resolved immediately. Was then provided with instructions on how to bypass the system. I just paid over $300 yesterday and now asked to not use the system. Requested to speak to a manager, was told it takes 48 hours for a manager to return the call. I need this situation remedied immediately.
