1/19/23 Purchase 2021 **** F150 from Chicago Motor Cars, total purchase price $47198.26. **** was made with salesman ************************, paperwork signed with Finance Manager **********************2/23/23 Received title in mail and attempted to transfer title in my name at ************** brans #***. BMV employees informed me that they would not be able to transfer the title because the bill of sale and purchase paperwork were from Chicago Motor Cars but the name on the title was Karma Naperville. Names must match to be transfer title. Informed ******* by email and phone call that I could not transfer the title and that per BMV employee I needed either a bill of sale from Karma Naperville or a title from Chicago Motor Cars. ******* informed me that he would be begin working on the problem and get back to me.3/3/23 Called ******* because I had not heard from him since 2/23/23. ******* still did not have a solution and said that he would get back to me soon. ******* called back again an hour later stating the Chicago Motor Cars would provide a one and the same letter on company letterhead and that this should allow me to transfer the title to my name.3/7/23 Went to ********** BMV branch #*** to attempt to transfer title. BMV employees informed me that one and the same letter was not acceptable and that reiterated that I would need either bill of sale from Karma Naperville or title from Chicago Motor Cars. Called ******* immediately after leaving BMV to inform him that I was not able to transfer the title and that I would need bill of sale from Karma Naperville or title from Chicago Motor Cars.3/8/23 Spoke with ******* and *** via conference phone call. *** told me that their proposed solution was for me to ship the title back to Chicago Motor Cars where they would modify/alter the title so that the second reassignment section read as Chicago Motor Cars and not Karma Naperville. Chicago Motor cars recieved title on 3/10/23 but have not provided any update.
