We hired ***** for our siding, gutters and new windows. The siding and the gutters went very well. However, The windows were a nightmare. They started in July and we did not get the job finished until mid December. The installer made errors twice, Marring the inside woodwork in the process. The screens did not fit the windows. The worst thing was that we did not get the windows that were sold to us. We realized it after they started installing. By then our old windows had been removed and were trashed. We were told that the salesperson had and old sample! It was very disappointing, but nothing we could do then. No compensation was offered for this error. We would NOT recommend *****.

We are glad to hear that you were well pleased with your siding project. We too believe that it turned out beautifully. In regards to your window project, we also were very frustrated. A couple of points regarding what you've expressed. You are correct that when the windows were originally installed the wrong trim accessories were used. When this became apparent we promptly returned to correct the mistake. This was our fault and we sincerely apologize. However, your claim that you did not receive the windows you purchased is false. You did receive the windows you purchased; it was only the screens of these windows that were re-engineered by the manufacturer and were different from what you had seen on the sample window. This change had no effect whatsoever on the appearance, quality, or efficiency of the windows. More importantly, the re-engineering of the screens, as your husband saw when we returned with the original sample window, was a good thing. The original screen design made them difficult to remove, the new design solved this problem. As to the screens not fitting properly on three of your windows, you are correct. This is why we had the window manufacturing representative visit your home to see what was going on. After his visit, we reordered the screens. Two of the three screens fit and the third had to be reordered again. This however had nothing to do with K&H Exteriors. This was an issue that had to be dealt with exclusively by the window manufacturer. While we agree that this process took longer than usual, we understand that supply chain issues and manufacturing speeds continue to be a problem in our world. It is always our goal to create extremely satisfied customers and while we believe we did everything within our power to solve the problems with your project, we understand why you feel the way you do. We too wish things had gone more smoothly.
