            - 1/31/21 entered into agreement with Decks Unlimited (Contractor) to furnish and install side deck, rear deck, and rain escapes system for $33,595. I sent a deposit on 3/24 for $24,595 one week prior to work starting.- 5/17 prior to final inspection I notified *******, the installer, of leaks in the rain escapes system. I was told they were repaired on 5/18.- 5/18 received the final **** that was disputed. ****, the Owner, did not communicate any changes that increased cost during permitting and installation. We settled on a value that included credits for contract work not performed. A final check was sent in the amount of $10,554 on 5/20.- 6/21 notified **** of same leaks occurring from 5/17 along with 3 new leaks. I also notified the manufacturer to assist Contractor in making repairs. It was determined incorrect flashing install by Contractor was the problem. Contractor attempted repair on 7/14.-8/21 notified **** of leak reoccurring again. See ****** text response in uploads.

            Awful company to work with. Communication was non existent, and then extra charges were added to the **** with out consultation of the client. Was told different things from work crew and from owner. Nothing was scheduled, they just showed up and left when they wanted.

            The extra charges were added on when we were asked to remove the concrete step, before starting the beautiful composite front porch. I am hoping this customer posts the picture of the final product, so everyone can see the quality in the workmanship. I asked the customer to let me know when he had the concrete busted out, and was told we had to do the removal. We are not concrete contractors and had to rent a jackhammer, and a skirt was installed under the porch. You can't see under the porch and my son put it underneath the porch. Next they wanted us to haul the concrete away, which require a dumpster rental, and I even sent him pictures of the dumpster, with his concrete in it. We have had all 5 star reviews in the last 15 years, but every so often, any company will have a customer that wants everything for nothing. It can't be helped, just a part of doing business.
