            In 2018 Marino Chrsyler installed a new transmission (admittedly) erroneously/incompletely. I brought the issues to their attention every visit since the install. They claim to have inspected same and now a new transmission is needed as they now say there was never any fluid installed (by them). Consumers (non mechanics ) can't access transmission fluid areas or gauges to se fluid levels, only auto mechanics can. I have been disputing this with them since March 2023, they are now trying charge me for repairs on their original faulty installation.

            I dropped off my car for authorized warranty repair work only to pick it up with new major issues. Something is burning under my hood, and my gas mileage decreased 60% from the time I dropped it off. I have not driven my car in nearly 60 days aside from 3 trips to Marino and right back. Each time I picked up my vehicle, the check engine light came on within 10 miles of driving. Once the ****** at Marino returned my car to me with the check engine light on.Initially the dealer said the burn smell and decrease in mileage is from the rusted flex fuel pipe because my car sat a month. That was replaced and the problem persisted. I return my vehicle and this time they insisted its the axle shaft causing a burn smell. I picked up my car again, only to still smell something burning and still getting 12mpg. The service director told me the smell is normal until it wears off from driving... Once I got Chrysler Mopar warranty involved, Marino is now replacing the radiator, when that was not mentioned a single time in the last two months.I dropped off my car expecting it to be fixed, but it has only gotten worse. The decrease in gas mileage is a result of damage done to my catalytic convertor at Marino Jeep. They will not admit to damage because it is out of warranty, but I was having none of these issues before. I have service receipts from a month prior to dropping it off, and I had no catalytic convertor efficiency codes then. My vehicle's issues did not start until in Marino's possession. My car was dropped off for service to get a new transmission and PCU. Marino admitted to me that ***** Motors did not install my PCU correctly in 2019, causing damage to my transmission and PCU in 2022. If the service was performed correctly, I would not be in this situation. The right thing to do is return my car in the condition I dropped it off in, not worse!

            Nick, we understand your vehicle has been in service for far too long. The burning smell that you complained about has been troublesome to figure out. But the last three visits the check engine light has been diagnosed but not repaired since you have not approved the repairs which are not covered under your extended warranty. We have covered your excess rental, deductibles and poor workmanship repairs from other shops in the past. 23 visits in total and mostly you have only paid your warranty dedectable. We have documatation from the visit in October that shows a faulty catalytic converter prior to you coming in for service, We have attempted to show you this but it doesn't seem to matter to you. Your vehicle is a 2016 with 110k and has had far too many issues but we feel the burning smell is resolved and the converter is a repair that the manufacture or the extended warranty are not going to pay for so this will be your reasonability.
