      On 11/13/2022 I had my rear brakes and rotors replaced at Jiffy Lube located at ***************************** ******** **, ***** owned by ********* Enterprises **** On 10/12/2023 I heard a grinding coming from my left rear brake. I had recently moved to **** and took my 2018 ***** CRV to the ************ Jiffy Lube located on ***************** to assess the noise. They told me that my rear brakes had not been greased properly and the left brake caliper was not opening/closing properly and the rears brakes, rotors, and left caliper needed to be replaced. I was told that where I had the previous brakes done at Jiffy Lube owned by DeGeatano Enterprises *** was privately owned and not enrolled in the national warranty program with Jiffy Lube, therefore I would have to pay out of pocket to replace the rear brakes, rotors, and calipers less than 1 year since I had them replaced last. I called the national customer ********************** line and was told the same information. I had to pay out of pocket to order the parts and the cost of the Caliper was $160. 92. I was connected with **** from ********* Enterprises on 10/13 and he confirmed they would cover the cost of the brakes/rotors/calipers. on 10/15/23 the work was completed by the ************ Jiffy Lube. The check for the reimbursement for the cost of the caliper was incorrectly mailed to my ******** ** address where I no longer reside, and it took 4 months for DeGeatano Enterprises to confirm that despite being provided with the correct address multiple times and the entire reason I couldn't go back to the ********************* to have the work done, they are unresponsive and refuse to reissue the check and mail it to the correct address provided. I have had multiple calls, emails, and text messages looking to resolve this issue and they are unanswered or go weeks in between responses. I just want to be reimbursed for the rotor in the amount of $160.92.

      In September I had my brakes done at Jiffy Lube and they were done incorrectly. This is extremely concerning. I have two young children who I drive with in my car on a daily basis. I maintain my car and expect the mechanics to do their work correctly. It is upsetting to think that I have been driving my children around in a car without fully functioning brakes for over three months.The brake pads werent making full contact with the disk and were put on upside down. You can see in the picture that I provided to the manager that only half the disk is wearing down while the other half is rusted.Getting brakes done is expensive. I paid to have the work completed at Jiffy Lube and then had to pay again to have the work done correctly. I did not take the car to Jiffy Lube to have the brakes fixed. I did not trust them to do the work correctly. I emailed corporate and was forwarded to the franchise manager. He did not respond and I had to contact corporate to reach out to him again. After explaining the situation to the manager he responded- Thank you for providing the pictures and making us aware of your concerns. With Jiffy Lube Multicare you have a warranty in place for 12 months or ****** miles on labor and 24 months ****** miles on parts. The warranty states that if you have a repair done by another service center without our consent or giving us a chance to look at the vehicle, the warranty becomes void. I noticed that you have had service with us for some time and we appreciate your business and would like to retain you as a customer. I can not provide money back for your service with us, however, in the future I can offer you a free brake fluid exchange, tire rotation and signature service oil change as we care about you being one of our customers.Please let me know if you would like to accept this offer.This is not an acceptable response or solution. It is a generic response and uses the warranty as a way to get out of their responsibility to my costs.
