            On 06/27/2023, 07/11/2023 and 07/27/2023, the Better Business Bureau contacted The Professional Locksmith, Inc. requesting for the removal of BBB Accredited Business Torch logos from their website. The Professional Locksmith, Inc. is not an accredited business. Therefore, this business is currently violating the BBB's name and logo policy and has falsely stated BBB accreditation or referenced BBB's name in an unauthorized manner, despite BBB's efforts to get the business to cease using BBB's trademark. This use of BBB's trademark constitutes trademark infringement and is a violation of trademark rights of the International Association of Better Business Bureaus. 

            This matter has been referred to the International Association of Better Business Bureaus (IABBB) and the Illinois Attorney General's office for further action.

            I contacted Professional Locksmith and set up an appointment to have 3 door locks repaired after reading the good reviews, seeing the 10% discount for 1st. time Customers and confirming to Credit card I wanted to use was accepted by thier company. After a series of miscommunications, and poor ***************** I only had one Door repaired. My receipt came on my Cellphone after the Locksmith had left and I saw I was charged an additional fee for using a Credit Card and that I had not received my 10% advertised discount. I phoned Professional Locksmith said that I had not received my 10% New Customer Discount and had been charged a processing fee and would liketo speak to a Manager about a billing adjustment. I was told no Manager was available but I would be contacted Monday. I called and requested a Manager and was told she was busy but would get back to me. When the Manager called me back and I requested the billing adjustment, she persisted for details about the situation. I told her that I was not calling to make a complaint against the Technician but that it had been very problematic, I did not however have any issue with the service that had been performed or clean up, I was only requesting the advertised discount and the removal of the fee for using the Charge Card. The Manager agreed to remove the fee and refund the 10%. I said Thank you and hung up. A few minutes later I recieved a call from the Manager saying that after she Listened to recorded phone conversation that she did not hear me ask for the First Time Customers Discount so she would not be honoring it, but would be willing to credit a future service. I advised her would be no future business between us. I am requesting the BBB assist me . Thank you .

            THE PROFESSIONAL LOCKSMITH COMPANY: The Professional LockSmith Company is a fraud. I had an emergency situation with my vehicle where I needed a new car remotes. The technician came out and provided me with a set of remotes that was not compatible with my vehicle. He made me believe that he gave me the correct remotes and that the remotes that he had given me worked, but he use another method to get my car started. When I got home and test the remotes they did not start my vehicle. When I called the technician back several times he did not answer his phone. So I called the actual company they gave me the run around for several days. The first person that called me back after this ordeal was Marcelo at phone number, after explaining what happen and what the technician had done then I asked for my money back. Mind you Marcelo is not a manager or supervisor. I explained to Marcelo that I had to get my car towed to the dealership and I purchase the remotes from the dealership as well. He told me that the dealership didn't know what they was talking about and didn't know what they was doing. I explained to him that I didn't have any issues with the remotes that I got from the dealership. He said that he will call me back, but he never did. When I tried calling him back his number were not in service. I kept calling The Professional LockSmith several times and they continue to give me the run around. Finally, I spoke to a supervisor by the name of Jasmine and I explained to her what happened. She told me that she can only give me half of my money, which was $200.00 of the $400.00 that I spent. I her that I wanted all of my money back. Even after explaining that these remote keys where the wrong remotes, she still insisted that she could only give me back $200.00 refund. The business cell phone. Jasmine the supervisor had me to send the pictures to her along with the receipt from my car dealership. Waiting on Jasmine response.
