    On June 1 and June 8. 2022 this company cut the lawn at our residence and damaged the gate located at the north end of our property. At no time did said company advise us of the damage they did. Granted we signed a waiver that states they are not responsible for damage due to weed Wackers/ lawn mowing. However, this is a brand new gate, which cannot be repaired and we must purchase a new gate which will cost approximately $800.00. We have NEVER had any issue like this with a mowing company where there was this type of damage. This is unacceptable and the company never even took ownership or apologized.

    At the end of July last year, I contracted with College Student Landscaping to replace some bushes in the front of my building. I was provided with a warranty for a year, should any of the bushes need to be replaced. I followed the directions provided to me and took additional measures including making sure that the landscaping company for my association did not plow/shovel snow onto the bushes or trim them to give them a chance to flourish. I also began watering again late spring due to the drought we've been experiencing since then. I contacted ***** on June 28th for the first time because one of the bushes had turned completely *****. For the next 2 weeks I received a series of emails back and forth with multiple "reasons" for what was happening. Some of his reasons were contradictory to one another. The "reasons" were simply excuses. Then on July 12th, when I contacted him again, he claimed he sent someone out to look at the **** on July 9th. He did not contact me to tell me someone was coming out. This person did not even knock on my door. Very unprofessional. For the next several weeks I went back and forth with him about replacing the ****. He told me I was "pulling the plug" on it. Really. I found that interesting as he had no problem "pulling the plug" on the healthy bushes I had asked him to replace in the first place. I was only offered an extension on the warranty to March. We are still in winter in March, and if the problem was "stress" as he was insisting it was, the **** would have needed time to grow to see if it came back next year. ***** did not want to give the warranty that time. In the meantime, the other 2 bushes also went fully ***** (again, despite following his watering advice - the only advice he gave). So, I contacted his business one last time on Friday July 30 (as the 31st was one full year), and did not receive a reply as of today, August 3rd. That is why I have decided to write this review. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this business. Any business that does not honor its warranty commitments is one that everyone should avoid using.
