Loved the hospital, sweetest nurses, great OBGYN for the birth of my second daughter. Much better experience than *********************. However, their billing department was a nightmare to deal with. The outsource the company for epidural and could never once give me a EOB. Then ******* has separate billing for physicians and hospital- a mess and you never get questions answered. I had my payment plan set up, one time the card declined to I contacted them the same day to rerun the card. No help. I contacted them 5 more times by phone and chat.. nothing. Then they canceled my payment plan. And suddenly I get follow up messages. Ridiculous.Review from Asuncion B

This is a horrible horrible hospital to be at! Its extreamly routine to not be cared for when you press the call nurse button, not to mention one of my techs. smelled like marijuana when he came back from his break! Also I was schedule for an *** as a in patient on Saturday, they actually attempted to perform the *** on Wed., It took them that long to get me into the ***. If that wasnt bad enough, they told me, once I already been torchered with the initial of preping for the ***, that they didnt have **************** to accomadate me. So it was canceled! Mind you both my knees are are completely incompacitated, and Im in excrusciating pain ! Go to Good ***. stay clear of *******!Review from Kellyann A

My husband and I took our daughter to the ** at *********************** in ********** at 1:30pm (11/10/23) and it was an awful, experience. My daughter, who just gave birth 7 weeks earlier has a herniated disc in her lower back and was experiencing excruciating pain on her left side from her lower back all the way to her foot. She could not walk or stand; just sitting was painful for her. She has been experiencing constant pain for over a month with little to no relief. At 5:30, she was still sitting in her wheelchair and crying from the pain. So, I went to the person at the desk to ask some questions. The person at the desk was rude and told me to sit down. I was annoyed by his dismissal, disregard, and complete lack of compassion, so I said no, I don't want to sit down. I stepped back. Then he must not have liked that I didn't sit down as he commanded because he told the police officer to ****** me out. In my head I was thinking, is this guy for real. ****** me out, for what reason, because I asked questions? Because I didn't want to sit down when he told me to? I wasn't arguing or yelling or even talking to him anymore. I was standing there quietly waiting for my daughter to be called. But he decided he wanted me out and that was all there was to it. He had 3 police officers ****** me out He actually smiled and took pleasure in watching me wheel my daughter out of the ** still in pain and without any help or care. He enjoyed the power, sick! This person lacks the social/ emotional skills needed to be emotional skills needed to be working with people in an ** who are in suffering and need any amount of care or compassion. Thankfully it all turned out to be a blessing. I ended up taking my daughter to the ******** Hospital ** and what a difference. They are professional, kind, and caring. If you have a choice do not go to the ****** ** unless you have time to wait and don't have a lot of pain. Otherwise I would recommend the ******** ** hands down, no comparison.Review from Eric D

(Visiting from out of town) Took my daughter there tonight after having administered her an Epi-Pen for an allergic reaction to walnuts. She was vomiting, itching everywhere, and wheezing. They triaged her, and made us wait in the waiting room for almost an hour!!! We complained twice more about her having trouble breathing and then told Ill let them know. Seriously so if my child should have another anaphylactic attack (yes this can happen) and maybe drop on the floor with a fully swelled tongue or worse, would we be seen sooner maybe!!!??? Never, ever, going here again! This is my 3rd horrible experience with THIS ER. Please we beg you to close up this ER you people are just not equipped to handle Emergencies. Its a HOT MESS all around!!!.Review from Kathleen R

The worest hospital and patient care ever. I had severe nasal bleed and went to ED * times, they leave me bleeding in the lobby despite passing clots and bleed non stop. In the last visit they put me in a room with no medical supplies, no ********************* taken, no nurse or provider. Not connected to monitor, all by myself bleeding. I had to leave or I will die. The nurse sawp me leaving and just said bye bye. I went to another hospital and was triaged and had bilateral embolization of maxillary arteries immediately. If I waited more at this hospital, I could have been dead. Please don't go to *****************************, they are killing people, their staff are very rude, non professional, they don't know how to differentiate life threatening bleeding from common cold.Review from Kimberly W

And PCT **** and ******* were nothing short than amazing. Brings tears to my eyes knowing how well they all took care of me. I hope they know how appreciated they all are!!Review from Lisa H

I am new to Edward-Elmhurst Health and am looking for a primary care provider. I called the referral line to find an HMO doctor and was sent five names that were accepting new patients. When I called, I was told that NONE of them was accepting new patients. Only TWO in the entire network (male or female) were accepting new patients and two months minimum for a first visit. The referral line and Asia-based answering services aren't even on the same page. I can't even get a straight answer to get a doctor - makes me nervous of the kind of care I can expect..
