Air rite installed a new furnace and air conditioner late last year nearly $8000. Last week Monday the 5th I noticed water on the floor in our finished basement. Upon reviewing the furnace and water heater I found the is*** was the pvc drain pipe had come loose from the top of the furnace and leaked a significant amount of water. Air rite was called immediately before 7am. We shut off the *** Technician arrived in the afternoon and expressed his concern on how it had been installed incorrectly, adding the top of the furnace plate had a burn **** from the pvc pipe laying on it as it was installed incorrectly. He made the repairs and advised that he corrected the installation no charge. Clearly an admission of incorrect installation previously. The water damaged the carpet, byfold doors, oak wood trim. I reported the damage to Air rite a few days later and requested to file a.damage.property claim. **** denied any responsibility although his Technician wrote the defects on the work order receipt. **** not willing to listen to the is*** began screaming *** me, *** me!! I need to understand the process to recover our losses from the property damage and labor due to improper installation?
