The supplier provided us with a total cost on the project in which we paid in full. Over a month after the completion of the project, they revised invoice for an additional $3,050 for materials. SRS and their contractor failed to provide any support/proof nor approval from the homeowner regarding the need for the additional materials. Yet, they also charged me for unused materials in which they did not credit my account.

********, we spoke to you the day of the job and texted your husband with the amount the day of the job during the job and still have those text messages. We replaced your roof and you had a lot of wood damage. As your email with me last night stated you spoke with our team before we went to the store to buy all the extra wood. Instead of charging you the rate per our signed contract with you, we gave you a huge discount on the wood replacement to help you out. Your husband ****** talked to me the day after the job, and talked about a payment plan for the rotted wood, which you guys havent made a single payment towards. When we replace a roof we bring additional materials to the jobsite so that we dont run off to get more materials. That has nothing to do with your cost. We price out your project by the measurements of the roof. There was no discount to offer you when we take back the additional materials. Im sorry that youre frustrated that your roof had a lot of wood damage, but that had nothing to do with us. The fact that you were happy with our work until you are being forced to pay your balance is unfortunate. We are sorry that your roof had those issues.
