HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Do not use this company!! Post-COVID, the quality of the service has plummeted. My husband and I hired this company last year during the shut down to build a composite balcony off of our master bedroom and replace the wood surrounding the outer bay area where the balcony would be with composite (we had heard good things about this company in the past). They delayed the project start until this year. They started the project at the end of June and still have not completed. The project manager, ****, initially claimed we would not need a permit for the project. My husband knew that did not sound right, so checked with our city and filed for one himself. The first week they started the project, their people cracked the glass in our custom window in the bay area of our kitchen. They also damaged the actual framing of the window and claimed the window was likely rotten to begin with, and that's why it was broken when they removed it and replaced it (they ripped the alarm system wires off and shoved the window back in place, but there are gaps around it now leaving my kitchen vulnerable to the elements when it rains). They still have made no steps to replace the damage they have caused. We got a second opinion from a window company this weekend who confirmed that the window frame IS NOT rotten but was damaged when Synergy removed and replaced the window (the framing surrounding the actual window is partially ripped apart). It is damaged beyond reapair per window company, so we can't just replace the glass--the window pane has a huge circular crack. The multiple times I've talked to the business owner to complain about the damage, he's clueless about what's going on and references that the project manager, ****, said the window was already damaged. I have photos that prove otherwise. Now it is going to cost us $3000 to replace this custom window in our kitchen that Synergy busted. I AM LIVID WITH THIS COMPANY'S SERVICE!!! THEY ARE AWEFUL!! Additionally, we had them install a patio door in our bedroom. The paint they used to repaint the wall around the newly installed door is a shade off compaired to the surrounding paint. I noticed it the next day after it dried and he got paint on my crown molding. They also had the painter install the door knob/lock on the patio door and he installed it incorrectly. The door is difficult to open and close now. This company may have done quality work in the past but they have done a HORRIBLE job on our project. It's been a NIGHTMARE! Next week, we'll be two months into this project and it's still not complete. I have pictures documenting all of the damage and unfinished work. After multiple phone calls with the project manager and owner, nothing has been rectified. We will now have to hire a separate contractor to finish this project. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY AND AVOID A HEADACHE!!

We are sorry you had such a negative experience during your remodeling project. Unfortunately, your project start was initially delayed due to receiving no response after numerous attempts from our designer stating we needed to finalize selections and sign off on documents to move forward. From 9/15/2020 to 2/20/2021 we were not able to get a call/ email back with your siding ****************** documents which is why the project was significantly delayed from the beginning. After removing the siding on the bay at the back of the house we discovered there was severe water damage to the framing, sheeting, and windows. After removing the rotten sheeting and insulation to further assess the situation we discovered that several studs, trimmers, headers, plates, ************ boards were rotted as well. Unfortunately, this damage was existing and could not have been caused during the project as it would take years to acquire such water damage & rot.The paint used on the wall around the patio door was homeowner provided. Unfortunately, if the color appeared to be not an exact match, this was not supplied by Synergy. Our main priority is your satisfaction. During your call with Synergys owner, he offered to come out to your home to perform a site visit, but you declined stating you were busy and could not meet with him. Unfortunately, these issues have caused your remodeling experience to be unpleasant and we would like a chance to further discuss and resolve them.
