I contracted this business to replace 2 water heaters in my basement. The heaters were replaced no problem as we discussed. Next day unfortunately I noticed a broken mirror in my hallway where installers were carrying in and out 75 gallon water heaters. They apparently had difficulty carrying heaters because of their weight since I heard them talking loudly about it and not being able to fit thru the door pass. That's exactly where the glass mirror is located. I heard them bang a heater once on a wall but there was no damage.I notified the company a day after about the situation. The owner immediately claimed that his people are accurate and it usually doesn't happen. I expressed my regrets that this happened but my mirror was fine for 16 years and after water heaters installation it is broken. I took pictures and shared with the owner as well.A day later he replied that his people didn't do it and I need to provide a proof of what they did it. Short of the video recording what proof can I possibly have??? I could put a stop payment on the check but chose not to do since I believed the business will take care of the situation. The cost of mirror repair is approximately $500 I paid $5700 to replace water heaters.Please help
