The day after having my car worked on at Midas (12/22/21), my car's *** sensor went out causing my AWD to go out.I brought the car back into Midas asap after the Christmas holiday, Midas technicians said it was a sensor issue and it needed to be replaced.I brought my car to Acura to replace the sensor, the technician asked me what work I recently had done, he brought to my attention that the ** wheel bearing was damaging my car and needed to be replaced, they said it was dangerous for me to continue driving with the ** tire rubbing against other parts of the car.We cannot prove that Midas broke the sensor, but the *** sensor just so happens to be located in the **.We do know that Midas did not properly install the ** wheel bearing, causing damage to my vehicle. The ** tire was also rubbing up against the car, due to faulty installation at Midas. which I also had to replace elsewhere. I have a record of this statement from the Acura technician himself. I asked Midas to refund me at their location, but they won't. I have disputed this with the Midas credit card three times with NO help, the credit card company says to dispute at the location only.Midas store owners REFUSE to refund me or accept FAULT.This Midas location damaged my vehicle, due to faulty installation and incomplete installation.They should refund me the $750 for the fixing of their damages to my vehicle.I have already paid Midas $600+ and owe $800 on the Midas credit card.I paid over $2,000+ to fix my car at Acura after Midas damaged it.I am only asking for the recovered damages of the ** bearing, 1 tire, and inspection fee.I am not asking for the rental fee, ** *** sensor, or the alignment fee after paying for a replacement tire.I believe what I am asking is fair considering the damages occurred to my car. I tried to dispute this case three times, the Midas credit card company states only the Midas location can give a refund- they only check for billing mistakes.
