I am filing a complaint because I received *************** from Merlin on January 7th, 2022 and it was done incorrectly. I went to ********* for alignment fix on June 1st, 2022, but the alignment could not be completed because the inner and outer tie rod were seized on the front passenger side. It had been less than six months since the *************** ********* stated the tie rods should not seize up 6 months after being installed. Please note, I reached out to corporate but got no response.Summary of Events:On December 14th, 2021 - I received the ****** mile service from Merlin. They did not recommend fixing the tie rods. (72K pg 1 & 2)On December 27th, 2021 - I went to ********* to have my brakes and alignment fixed. ********* recommended that the Sway Bar links should be fixed on my car because the car had been vibrating and shaking back and forth when idle. My car had been doing this a few weeks prior to ******, December 14th service but nothing was mentioned during the ****** mile check up. (Swaybar pdf)December 28th, 2021 - I dropped my car off to ****** and the technician investigated the vibration. They stated that the sway bar link had no issues and that the cause of the vibration was the Tie Rods. (Tierod pdf)January 7th, 2022 - went to Merlin to have the Tie Rods fixed. After the *************** was complete, ****** told me there was an issue with the Sway Bar links and it needed to be fixed. They had told me 9 days prior there was no issue with the sway bar link and now were trying to charge me for it. After having to argue with them, they ultimately fixed the sway bar for free. I was upset that they could not identify an issue with the sway bar link 9 days prior but were able to identify it the day of the service. (Coil 3 pdf)I have had many issues with this ******.
