I took my 2014 Buick Encore to Goodyear Interstate in *******, ** in November of 2023. My car was not starting and the fan on the motor stayed on after I had turned the car off. When I took it to Goodyear, they explained to me that the fan stayed on because I needed a new water outlet and cooling system. I was told that the price would $900. I did not have the money nor was I working so my grandmother was able to take out a loan with Snap Finance. They approved her for $2,000. After they seen how much she was getting for the loan, they increased the total to $1550. They were supposed to fix the car but when I got my car back the fan was still running, and my heat was not working at all. I took it back and they were supposed to fix it again and when I got it back the second time my heat was still cold. I have a three-year-old daughter and she has health issues, and I could not take her to any of her appointments due to my car not working and not having heat in the winter season. I took my car to a different mechanic, and I was told that nothing was fixed on my car and that I needed to take it back. I took it back a third time and there was an antifreeze leak that they did not fix from the first time and also oil was leaking. I got my car back and it was smoking really bad, they explained to me that it was oil on the engine from the oil being changed and it will burn off in three days. The oil never burned off and there was oil leaking into my exhaust causing it to smoke. My grandmother and I both called asking for a refund and also reached out to Snap Finance and Goodyear denied the request for a refund.
