The McGrath Honda was the best Dealer experience Ive ever had, thanks to *************************. He was not only a gentleman during the process, but very knowledgeable. I also want to thank his immediate Supervisor ****, who assisted in closing the sale. I would certainly do this again. Thank you !Review from Lyn L

Took car in to service there. Write up sheet incuded prices and services to be done. Additional fee for supply charges totaled $22 and not included in origional write up of serviced. When questioned the additional fee is to cover shop towels and cleaning supplies. There is a disclaimer in very small print that if the service inculdes labor then a "cleaning fee" will be added. The labor is included in the pricing of the service and there is no mention of an additional fee that will be added with the service descriptions that incudes the mention of labor.Review from TERRY S

We took our car in for a few simple items to be done and a warranty repair. We clearly handed a part to be repair/replaced to the service tech that meet us at the service department and listed this repair is listed with the items on the service sheet. I have 2 different McGrath sheets of paper listing our request. The item to be repaired in under the automobile and since we thought this was the dealership we purchased the car - the item would be taken care of during service. Well - recently - us - not with car knowledge - we asked a friend to look under the car to see if the repair was performed. It was not. It takes 1 plus hours to get to McGrath and 1 plus hours to get back. The service manager and the relations manager does not give me any assurance how long it will take or to replace/repair or the cost to us. I do not trust them - nor should you. No apologies from them -just mean phone conversations from them -our way or the highway -nothing for our frustrations and time and now distrust. I pdf the McGrath sheets on their letterhead- the service manager denies that we talked to *********************** about the part repair. Just wrongReview from Marylou G

As customers we are all scared to go into a dealer for service. As for this place I dont get that feeling. Everyone from sales to service, to the car wash boys and parts guys there all nice. The service team there is outstanding and do everything they can to help out customers and get the car back on the road. I went into ****** honda for a recent check and they couldnt get my extended warranty to cover my issues and want me to pay a crazy amount of money, so I paid the fee just for my car to get looked at. I brought my vehicle into McGrath city honda and worked with ********************* and *************************** and they were amazing! I was able to use a rental instead of going to hertz for free!?? yes for free! My **** was also only $100.00 instead of **** and the rest was covered by my extended insurance. I am very grateful to have such an amazing service facility blocks away from my home to go to. Thank you to everyone at McGrath city honda, and I will be back soon! ToodlesReview from Curtis H

This entire situation has been a headache and has brought me frustration that I don't usually have. I brought my car to this establishment to get a full diagnostic test and the transmission checked. Prior to bringing it to Honda McGrath I went to a transmission specialist who claimed my transmission was the reason for my car troubles. I told myself I'd rather have the manufacturer of the car confirm this as well before I make a move to get it repaired so that's when I took it to McGrath. They claimed my transmission wasn't the issue, but other things were which after 3 different repairs at separate times never fixed the issue. I took my vehicle to another transmission specialist and they confirmed it was my transmission. The mechanic told me he didn't understand why Honda couldn't see it was the transmission and said for the amount of money I spent with them it wouldn't hurt to go back and complain and ask for to get the problem solved. So I did, but I wasn't pleased about it. The person helping me this time around was the only bright light in this story. He went the extra mile to see what was the issue with my car and reported back to me that it was the transmission. I was so upset because I told them this from the jump. The person attempted to get Honda to handle to tab, but for odd reasons they declined to do so. I never personally wanted anything for free I did and still do feel the tab should have been reduced dramatically due to me already spending **** dollars in unnecessary repairs. They don't see it that away and we've been in this back and foward dispute about this matter since. Currently I have been threatened by them about their loaner vehicle they gave me. My car was repaired as of June 13th. Even though I still don't think it's fair I said I'd pay the ****. I asked them could I possibly bring them half the **** and the other half within 30 days. They told me no. On top of that now they are claiming I've abandoned my vehicle which isn't the truth.Review from Ryszard B

Totally unprofessional and unfair business practices. Not only they ripped my Father off on the purchase of a new car (they took advantage of him because he speaks only basic English) but it's been EIGHT Months, YES Eight Months and they still haven't cancel the unwanted warranties that totaled over $4K that we asked them to cancel.All the cancellation paperwork was sent to ************************* Finance Manager in EARLY FEBRUARY. He receive it and informed us that they will cancel it and it will reflect on the statement within 60 days. It's been EIGHT months now and it's still not cancelled or credited properly. Despite numerous emails he stays ignorant and never did what he was told for several months.How hard is it ? It's just pure ignorance and totally unprofessional business behavior on his part.I want BBB take action here and call those Clowns and have the warranty cancelled ASAP because this is what they should of done Eight Months ago!!!Review from Basic

I went to McGrath City Honda to purchase a new vehicle but experienced discrimination on the sales floor. Once I asked for a better interest rate, I was asked by a Sales Manager if I was Muslim because "Muslims do not like paying interest. He further detailed that I did not look Muslim, as if that was supposed to be a compliment. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION. There is clear discrimination, prejudice, and racism held by individuals who are in higher power positions and whose sole aim should be to leave customers satisfied rather than feeling judged and hated.Review from Eric t

Not doing buisness with them they replaced a part and not problem and was not fixed , if u find out a part is bad or think its bad you will have all info and facts why is bad not replaced the part and see if it will fix it 900 dollars . Die a complete diagnosis to see if it faulty part not hope for the best .Review from Andy T.

We went to McGrath Honda Saint ******* to purchase a used 2014 Kia Sorrento for my dad's birthday on ********. We specifically said we were paying cash before we even looked at the used vehicle. Sat down at the salesperson desk and was asked to provide driver's license so that we can test drive the vehicle. Then came this form that I had to fill out with my personal information including **# due to "************" to counter terrorism. As I mentioned before, we are paying cash and did not require financing. They brought the form into an office and pulled a credit check without my consent. Monday 5/10/21 I received a phone call from the ******* Director (**** ********) saying that they pulled my credit because it was a cash transaction over $10,000 and that it would be alot of paperwork to fill out in order for them to remove the credit inquiry. I had told him specifically what I would do in regards to writing a negative review if they hadn't removed my credit inquiry. He said he doesn't take threats lightly and so here I am writing this and to their corporate office for their deceptive business practice. As a consumer I have every right to a fair and honest business transaction and also to have my private information protected."******** explains that the oft-repeated claim that a credit check is mandated by the *********** is not true, and that dealers simply use this an excuse to get you to give them your info and to give them your OK to run your credit. Dealers may want to run your credit to find out more about your financial situation, or to try to convince you that you should finance with them, even if you have secured your own funding source.The U.S. ***********, which was passed to fight terrorism in 2001, does not mandate that car dealers run a credit check and does not require you to allow a credit check to occur. Car dealers are allowed to pull your credit only if you consent, according to the *********** Reporting Act.If a dealer tries to run a credit check under the ***********, this could be a major red flag that the dealer is not to be trusted. Unfortunately, there are tons of untrustworthy dealers out there, some of whom scam buyers and cause financial loss.Review from Felix S

It was a certified vehicle according to them and it has an extended warranty. After having it for a month the car stopped working. To have it fixed, it's going to cost almost 3k. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THEM!! They would not fix it and the warranty does not cover computer or electrical issues. The worst experience ever from a car dealer."
