              As a clueless guy in search of an engagement ring, I chose Kennedy Jewelers. Jeremy and his staff showed me numerous styles and cuts within my budget. They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect ring for my beautiful wife. She absolutely loved the ring! My wife and I have since bought many items and will continue to do so. We love how personable the staff is and how they always remember her favorites. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy high quality jewelry at a great price from a local business.

              We have been to Kennedy Jewelers for our special event needs. The last time they helped us with my daughter’s First Communion. They helped us purchase the perfect gift. They were super friendly and so patient with me and my mom. They truly are the best to work with and to help come up with ideas. So thankful for this wonderful family owned jewelry store!

              I planned on giving a 5 star review until the events that transpired over the last 2-3 weeks. I purchased an engagement ring, and decided to change the diamond to the cut I originally wanted a few days later all before before having it set. My fiancé did not like the ring setting so they offered to change the setting for a reasonable fee. When I got the ring back it looked good in the store, but once you went outside it was clear the diamond had a noticeably yellow tint and didn’t match the diamonds in the band. I asked before we did the swap will the diamonds in the band match the center stone and was told they would. That was a false statement. I contacted them about this to see if they could swap it out for something similar in size or what they would give on trade for something bigger that matched. They did not give any kind of information me until a week later. They told me they wouldn’t give me what I paid towards a better diamond. I was well within the 30 day return policy, but they did not honor it. Additionally, I spoke with the owner, Jeremy, about why I did not get any certification paperwork or an appraisal that they said they would give me. He tells me that I went about this situation the wrong way. They offered me to pay 3600+ to trade the diamond in and brought it down to 2000+ more for the same carat weight in a better diamond and was clear they did not want to buy back what they sold me. They do not stand behind their jewelry and what they sell. The owner never acknowledged anything about giving me an appraisal or was not apologetic about me not getting the certification paperwork for the diamond that I had purchased. They operate under shady business practices. While they are nice and friendly when you go in, they don’t educate their customers or provide a full understanding of all available options. This is something to consider if you are new to buying diamonds or your first engagement ring. I spent over 8k for them to be dishonest.

              This man and his significant other have given 3 reviews already and they continue to edit their reviews based on our responses. This is not an accurate description of what happened. ***** originally made his purchase on 7/6/2022. He had a very specific budget that he couldn’t go over. We spent hours and hours communicating with him over texts and in the store over a 6 week period. We educated him about color and clarity and recommended that he go the route of a lab diamond for the specific color and clarity he wanted based on his budget. He didn’t want to do that, and he picked a diamond in his budget. He exchanged that diamond twice and his setting 3 times. They even took one ring to Vegas and brought it back because he wanted more “bling.” On the day he took his final ring, his significant other was asked by him and myself, (I am the owner), if she liked the ring. She said she loved it. ***** called our director of sales, (El L******), and thanked him for being so patient with him and admitted that he was a very difficult customer. I began working on the appraisal for this final ring, and was going to email it. I had already redone it so many times, and I was working on this when he asked about exchanging the diamond again. This was on 8/8, and it was out of the 30 day window. He argued that it should have been within 30 days of the last return. We explained to him that if we did that, people could get a new engagement ring every 30 days and we couldn’t stay in business. We gave him his cert for the diamond, he was extremely aggressive and argumentative, (to the point where he was making our other customers and employees uncomfortable), and then he left. Shortly after that, the smear campaign started by he and his significant other. We are always kind, honest and ethical, but we have the right to set boundaries for us and our business without worrying about someone trying to hurt our business. Our return policy is clearly stated on the receipt and at our cash register. We have been extremely apologetic and understanding. We would never do anything shady. Not only is this false, but after spending so many hours with *****, we are now having to spend hours defending ourselves on all social media platforms. We can send receipts, any documents you need and employee testimonials if needed. Thank you!

              This was my last review on ****** that I wish was visible You all have gotten on here and only tried to paint us as people trying to defame your business. We showed you all nothing but respect, and honored all of your prices. 1. You are correct, you answered all of our questions. If a customer reaches out with questions for a year, that’s your job being in customer service. 2. You are correct, you were professional and I said the initial interaction was positive. 3. I asked El in the store are our questions the most you have encountered. He said no, he’s encountered other with far worse. 4. In the attached text, EL said he would give us what we paid toward an EXCHANGE. If he misspoke why not own up to it. 5. EVEN STILL, we were willing to work with you all on a fair price and spend much more because we did not want a lab diamond. 6. El also said the diamond would match. Again, if you misspoke own it. 7. You all were not transparent on how much we would get on the diamond we are trading in, OR how much the new diamond would be. You only gave us the difference. See screenshot. 8. You also did not educate us on GIA vs EGL from the beginning. Until we brought it up after another jeweler told us about it. 9. We were still within the 30 day policy when ***** contacted you on August 3. 10. ***** contacted you by text and in person to resolve and not have to leave a negative review. At that point, it was clear you all were not interested in a conversation to resolve. 11. We were respectful of your boundaries and did not contact you when you all were not in the office. 12. It’s clear, you all are not going to show any accountability. Thank you for your business and take care.

              The previous response was from my Fiancé, this is my response… It is my right a a consumer to give a business a review good or bad. The owner of this company and his sales manager have done nothing but make up things that are not factual about the events that have taken place. They keep saying how much time they spent with me, but they made thousands of dollars off of me. The staff are nice, but that still does not account the lack of accountability from the owner and manager. They have placed the blame on the consumer. I feel people have the right to know how this company operates. They are willing to deal with people that have no issues and when they want something returned that’s when they start to not take care of the customer as they should. They did not provide me with paperwork. I had to ask about it and there was no apology. When I left my review they had several people come on after to post good reviews just to boost their ratings this shows they only care about their 4.9 star rating on all the platforms and not about actual true customer service and helping customers. On one platform, I found a customer that basically had the same issue that I did with the owner doesn’t want to take any accountability for mistakes made on their part. Somehow that review ended up in the ones that are not recommended on that platform. I wish I had seen that review because I would’ve chosen to not do business here. I have proof of text messages showing that they have given me False information about things that they have posted online, and I also can post the phone records where I called the store before the date of my original purchase just to prove I’m not making up the story as they are. They blew me off for a week just to make sure that they can say that I was out of my 30 day window of return. I contacted the store on the third and I made my purchase on the sixth. They did not give me an answer until the 12th. My original contact was trying to be reasonable to ask them what they would give me for trade. They would not even give me what I paid towards something else, even though I purchase it there. Other businesses that I’ve talked to in the area that are locally owned gives the customer what they paid towards the purchase of an upgrade. So, in the end of this I was very patient and very reasonable for what I asked.
              This is the first reply from this business that he mentioned something about the appraisal that I never received, he never once acknowledged this when I had the communication with him and his storefront or any other replies to my review that he sent on other platforms. The owner has done nothing but trying to paint me and my fiancé as very difficult customers yet won’t take any responsibility for what him and his sales manager has said, done and didn’t do.

              This was not her review on google, but that’s okay. We have nothing to hide. We would never be ugly to any customer and tell them how hard they were, even though Bryan in his own words called himself, “An ******* customer.” We did match it as closely as humanly possible with the money you had to spend. We did educate you all to the fullest extent over 6 weeks. We did try to work with Bryan when he came in the store the last time, (even though it was out of the 30 days). He didn’t want to pay more for a nicer diamond, period. It’s simple math, and we aren’t sure what wasn’t clear in the texts and conversations. There will always be more money required to get a nicer diamond because it costs us more. The only stores that give you exactly what you paid are chain stores with extremely high markup without the quality. We went above and beyond to make you all happy. Bryan came in angry and didn’t try to resolve anything, and after he left, we knew we no longer could do anything to make you all happy. He has his paperwork, and we did not make thousands of dollars on you. If anything, we lost money on you all. We also have phone records, texts and videos from the store. You did not respect boundaries, and plain and simple, you guys are not taking responsibility for your actions, and we have a right to defend our name and set boundaries. Your other reviews online show that this is how you all chose to do business on a regular basis to get your way. We have never had a review similar because we have never gone through anything like this with a customer since 1976. We wish you both the best.

              I am going to end this at this point, the owner has done nothing but put false information up replying to my negative, honest reviews. This should show how in his mind he did nothing wrong in this whole situation. My fiancé and I have already laid all the details out and posted pictures on other sites and social media that you can go view for yourself. The owner keeps painting me as this awful person but has not provided any videos of me not respecting his boundaries.( my 3rd time asking to post on social media) I’m not sure how he’s going to send me an appraisal again when he never gave it to me in the first place. He never acknowledged it in the store when I tried to work this out with him. He did reply to us saying that he was in the middle of working on it but didn’t finish it since I was still making decisions. Now he supposedly is going to send me another one??? None of my text display any kind of hostility or anger. I was very nice and very patient as we said before. The owner and his manager were nice, but they are like used car salesman. They take advantage of people that don’t know or have limited knowledge about what they’re getting. They sell them sub par diamonds, as they did with me, selling me an EGL international diamond. It was rated a G but since they have lower standards, the color is closer to an I. It is at least 4 color shades lower than GIA with the same letter grade. The owner told me it was two color grades lower which that was false information as well because I’ve had the gem looked at by 4 other local jewelers and they said it is definitely lower than 2 color grades. Most of the things the owner replied to have been addressed in other post. You may not be able to see them, because he had them banned. I just want to let people know what goes in this store to definitely do your homework and know what you’re buying. Please check around at other local stores to check their pricing and quality. Also don’t be fooled and let them sell you a lab diamond. Labs are like buying a replica diamond, it’s not actually going to be worth near as much money if you want to upgrade. That’s their money maker and that’s what they try to push on customers. I did receive the certificate for the Diamond only after me saying I did not get it or the appraisal when I went in the store the last time after 6 weeks. I have had issues with another local business on a trailer and the company made it right without back forth or fuss like a good honest business is supposed to operate! Please proceed with this business with caution if you decided to go check them out as they are nice but very dishonest.
