Has spring cleaning left you with stacks of papers? Are you trying to figure out what to do with that old computer hard drive? Do you have a cabinet full of expired medicines?

Many of these items contain sensitive personal information and Better Business Bureau is making it easy for you to safely dispose of it all at its annual Secure Your ID Event. This free event will take place on Saturday, April 8th from 9am to 12pm at Charlotte Latin School (9502 Providence Road in Charlotte). Each car can bring:

  • Up to four bankers boxes of papers to shred
  • Up to ten electronic pieces to recycle (no TVs)
  • Expired medicine.

Items will all be safely and securely recycled or discarded with the help of our partners. There will also be a separate shredding only location at ShredIt (3005-I Crosspoint Center Lane in Charlotte).
