    Today I went into Spicer greens with a jar full of my mothers jewelry. The lady was looking through it a house so how to watch. She called a watch professional down from upstairs. He came down after one gentleman had begun to look at it. At that time the watch professional took my watch upstairs for five minutes. And comes down with a price that it was worth $4108. I was shocked I was crying because I really really needed catch up on bills. After she told me that ***** she got her boss **** to come in and show her out of had some thing in the computer at that time that was the third person that had put eyes on this watch. Once he entered all the information she excused herself went upstairs and got me a check. I went directly to my bank and deposited it. I get a call an hour later and they told me the watch is not real and that they are stop payment on the check. The man even said that *** have known that it was fake and could have intentionally done this. There were three professional jewelers that put eyes on this watch. So now Im out $4000 because of their mistake. there is nowhere on anything that I have that says that that watch is worth otherwise than $4108. I want them to follow through with paying me what 3 men saw.

    UPDATE: Spoke with the general manager of Spicer Greene Jewelers who explained the situation thusly--SGJ is not a Breitling boutique and consequently is at the lowest level of priority for watch replacements. At the same time SGJ is working with a new Breitling representative who needed to be brought up to speed with the happenings of the last six months. In consideration for the time spent waiting for the watch I requested a store credit to help smooth things over--an extension of goodwill during the horrendous service experience. Was told that in no uncertain terms it was not possible to offer store credit beyond the original purchase price of the watch. (Was hoping to use the credit to buy earrings for the wife or a new watch band if possible, but it seems like the team REALLY hates opportunities to retain customers.) Was provided a refund after much discussion, however the long story short is DO NOT BUY BREITLING WATCHES from this location. They do not respect customer's time, patience, or understanding at this store and will treat people poorly given the opportunity. Instead, try the Breitling Boutique in *********, ** and save lots of time and trouble.ORIGINAL: Purchased a new Breitling watch and the second hand was misaligned within 30 days of ownership. Manager and team were very pleasant about performing service (free of charge), however the issue was not corrected and had to be serviced again. Several months later... Lo and behold the second service on the watch didn't correct the issue either. Now many months later, Manager and team were super apologetic and offered to replace the lemon watch with a new one. Surprised to open it and the second watch has the same issue where the second hand does not align with the indices. Looked in the case and several more new watches have the same issue, so it seems like a manufacturing issue--however it would be ideal if the sales staff took the time to inspect their inventory for quality issues before making a sale.
