Two years ago I closed on a $650,000.00 home I had built in ********* in ******, ** by Eastwood Homes. During the negotiation process I was promised all kinds of services during and after closing. The quality of the construction and finish was poor at best. Since the closing I have requested many times that they fix certain issues. Of all the times they may have responded once. Several times during the negotiations I was promised that after one year they would inspect and fix any and all trim imperfections. This never happened. I definitely will not use Eastwood Homes for any other homes I have built.

This is one of the rare negative comments to we receive. We appreciate your review as it helps us focus on where we can improve. I understand you have received a much better experience since you posted your review. Eastwood Homes doesnt receive reviews as part of its warranty process so I was relieved to find out your matters were appropriately addressed.

I agree with **************..If I could, zero stars On July 27, 2023, I sent my ******* money, $5000, for Eastwood Homes, 5 **********, *******, ************** after touring the beautiful townhome on July 27, 2023. I hired a private home inspector, completed August 3, 2023, at 2:00pm. Upon receiving the report, I was taken aback by thirty-three issues that were reported.August 7, 2023, I go to work only to discover I was terminated. With this information, I sent *************************** an email/letter explaining my situation and was informed by her: It does not matter you lost your job; you signed the contract. Corporate does not care about the reason, only that you signed.I was then in the position where I was forced to sign the document releasing me of the purchase, but I did not get my money back. I know I initialed paragraph 18, but this is an honest hardship. I have lost my job and cannot afford this expenditure at this time. This is a necessary decision for what could happen money wise in my future. Does corporate care? Obviously not, only their bottom line.All I ask is for my $5000 in ******* money returned, and we can all continue on.

When you sign a contract for any home and you dont comply with the contract the ********************** requires the contract provide that ******* money will be retained. Eastwood Homes spends hundreds of thousands building homes and when a customer doesnt abide by the contract it is standard practice to retain ******* money. Contracts are legally binding.

Disclaimer: The following is my personal opinion: If I could give zero stars, I would. Warning, please spend your hard earned money with another builder. Windsor Homes, Keystone Homes, Royal Homes, True Homes, and even ***************** are all better options. Eastwood Homes are built with some of the cheapest materials and unskilled laborers. Their customer service is extremely poor and non-responsive. Their warranty process is a joke. Most items are not covered.They treat you like kings & queens before you purchase and ***************** after you purchase. I rather live in the ***** next to a den of grizzly bears before buying an Eastwood Home ever again. And to make matters worse, Eastwood has a clause in their contract which allows them to *** customers for making negative reviews such as this one and posting them on the internet! And they actually ***d us for expressing our dissatisfaction about our home! Worse company ever! Buy at your own peril! Avoid like the plague or you will regret it!

Mr. and ***************** have been sanctioned for criminal contempt of court over false allegations pertaining to Eastwood Homes. Nothing he states is true. Mr. and ***************** have acted threateningly with firearms and have been confronted by the community, prompting Eastwood to take legal action to protect community members. The case against the ******* continues with additional jail time being sought as a party of continuing contempt proceedings, as well as obtaining a substantial civil judgment. In 50 years Eastwood has never observed anyone as volatile, untruthful, combative and unwilling to abide by multiple judges admonishments that they change their behavior.
