    Original date 06 June 2023. Credit card was charged $160.13 for an annual service contract with ****************************. This company was sold prior to this transaction to MTB Mechanical LLC *********, **. I contacted the number on the receipt which was associated with ********** and was told that even though ****** was sold, MTB would honor the agreement. MTB came out for the 1st semi-annual inspection. In November 2023 I was informed the agreement with ********** was no longer valid and that I had to purchase a new contract with MTB. Due to their price and questionable contract terms, I declined and requested the remainder of the unused portion of my original ********** contract be refunded. MTB said they would credit the 6 months. However, the credit card used originally expired and was replaced with a new number. I requested a check for the refund on 24 Nov 2023. On 27 Nov 2023, MTB said they cancelled the original contract, contacted the accounting department and a check would be issued. On 31 December 2023 I contacted MTB requesting a status of when the refund would arrive. On 02 Jan 2024, MTB said it would arrive in 3 weeks. On 14 Feb 2024, I again contacted MTB as no check had arrived. This time, the answer was the matter was sent to corporate. It is now 09 March 2024 and no check and no communication from MTB.

    MTB replaced our evaporated coil shortly after that my unit stop working, which is why I called them out in the first place. I had water in my attic leaking profusely from my unit. Now I have a rusted air-handled unit in my attic with rust everywhere, torn installation from install, and a secondary drain pan with rust. We were told it was another issue and was expected to pay another diagnostic fee until I began to really questioned the technician as to why. He diagnosed the problem as having a cracked primary pan. I was confused because my unit never had this problem prior to MTB replacing the evaporated coil. After paying $1518.91 for the repair, we were quoted an additional $539 for a primary pan that was supposedly CRACKED. Remind you this is a metal pan and you can see directly if the pan is cracked or not. So to do an install and then have to do a call back to tell me it's an additional problem. As far as I am concerned I am even not sure if my home was cooling to the set thermostat temperature.I left and came back home same issue no air in my home. Spoke with the operational manager Chris about our concern of not checking the unit thoroughly prior to installation and after the repair, he came down on the price. Well at the appointment to replace our primary pan they ordered the wrong part and after asking the technician several times to show me the crack in the pan. He was stumbling what to say and ignored me the first few times. He couldn't show me the crack because the pan was one piece and intact without any cracks. It was warped and rusted and appeared to be inferiorly placed from the end component. Well let's just say my unit has been down for over a month it took them 11 days to get the part in and now it's been since June 18, 2021, and still no part, which means no air. My home heats up to the high 90's. I was not happy because no called me to give me a courtesy call and let me know after a week my part was delayed or just not in. I am in a scorching hot house after paying hundredths of dollars. We were told another 7 days before the part will be ready. On June 22, 2021, I spoke to Chris (Operational Manager ) to express my concern at 2:15 pm. He told me he needs to investigate and speak with the technician and I felt rushed off the phone. Now it's 6 days later still waiting on Chris's call back. So I did my own investigation and found that not only was the primary pan not cracked but it did not go with my new evaporated coil. It was busted and warped and from my old evaporated coil. I also questioned if they even ordered the correct evaporated coil because it should have come with an evaporated coil with its OWN primary pan. Not only was I lied to but do their incompetence now my unit had extensive water damage and rust in other areas that shouldn't have been there. Also, I am concern about price grousing after asking for a breakdown of pricing they said fees are at a flat fee. I trusted this company to be loyal and trustworthy to fix my AC unit not damage it and make it worst. I have been without AC for over a month dealing with nonsense and foolishness.They are aware of their flaws but expected me to pay for being incompetent. Sad part if my unit is under warranty. Someone owes me some answers as to what's going on and definitely some compensations. I only want to speak with the general manager or the CEO to address my issues, since I still have yet to hear from the operational manager.
