    A *****boy rocking recliner w/optional swivel base was purchased from Hickory Park Furniture ( an authorized ******** distributor) on 7/20/2023. The chair was delivered by the freight carrier of Hickory Park Furniture's choosing on 10/24. I called Hickory Park Furniture immediately upon delivery, stating the chair was defective and spoke with *********************. ***** stated she would call and have a **************** tech sent out. This did not occur. On 10/25 I emailed pictures of the problem. ***** sent a trouble shooting Guide and the first item clearly showed that this problem was known. ( Recline-Rocker with optional swivel base "pitches" forward ) ***** asked me to check to see if if my Recliner had "restrictive Pin" on the springs, required for my chair configuration. My chair had the standard springs, clearly a production defect. A set or replacement springs ( 92000208-00) were ordered with the expectation that I would install these. ( I never agreed to this) Springs came in, they were wrong. I then called ******** direct ( case # ****** spoke with *****) Once again I was told that replacement springs would be sent and I would have to install. ( I never agreed to this) Springs came in, wrong again. Called ***** again on 11/15 and was promised by ***** a L-z-boy tech would call to set up a service call. Never heard anything. I paid over a $1000 for a *****boy chair, that came off the production line defective. Now I'm expected to "fix" defective chair. Chair is dangerous. If you are sitting in chair with the leg support extended, then lift ** in the side handle, the chair will "eject" you onto the floor. As a side note, when I was initially asked to inspect the spring I severely cut my finger.

    BUYER BEWARE! Purchased an American Drew ******* set, and set was delivered with many imperfections. We were promised 100% satisfaction, and have received nothing but aggravation. Firstly, we had no idea that American **** was assembled in *******, and why would we choose to have furniture sent from the US to outside the country to be assembled?? When calling the day of delivery to express our dismay, we were not given much of a choice but to have a furniture finisher come in and address the issues. We reluctantly agrees, as the furniture is very heavy, and we felt sorry for the delivery men. Also, they advised us that basically if they put the furniture back in the truck for return, we would receive the same sat back, as it would be repaired and returned.The first repair person comes out and seemed irritated by my request for the flaws I pointed out. He did a half hearted effort, at best. I called HickoryPark and expressed my upset. I was told to obtain a quote from a local furniture repair service, and HickoryPark would consider reimbursing us. I really struck out finding local services to come in a timely fashion. I agreed to have another finisher from the same company come out. This gentleman entered my home without removing his shoes , and continued to our *******. HORRIBLE! Both service technicians were young with language barriers. The second was awful, and was prepared to fix our furniture with wood crayons, and became irritated we were not happy. Basically saying, ok, ok as he was packing up to leave!! Bottom line, Hickory Park informs me that they are sending me a check for $150.00 (originally $100.00) with their apologies! We are into this set with delivery charges, over $6600.00! Where is the customer satisfaction promise? We waited thirty years for a new ******* set, and this is what we have to settle for!**** ***** (*********) *********

    BBB,The customer made an online purchase of an American Drew ******* set that offers a unique textured ********** finish and manufactured in *******. Country of origin was never discussed. We are sorry to hear the customer had an unfavorable experience when they received their furniture. Unfortunately, wood is a softer material, and it's susceptible to dings, scratches, and drawer swelling. #9 on our Conditions of Sale (customer signed and initialed) states that the customer is to refuse any pieces that have manufacturing issues, and they will be restored to manufacturers standards. The customer decided to keep the pieces in their home. #** on our Conditions of Sale (customer signed) states that ******************** Park isn't responsible for drawer adjustments. However, Hickory Park paid for two technicians to touch-up the small blemishes and adjust the drawers in good faith to try and satisfy the customer. We also gave the customer $150 in another good faith settlement to which the customer agreed.Thank you for your time.
