      After being a customer for over twenty years and using a variety of products (e.g. checking, mortgage, auto loan), I made a bank wire transaction for ~$30,000. This was my first bank wire as a Bank of America customer. It was my first bank wire period. If a responsible financial representative had asked a few simple questions about the nature of this transaction (who, where, what) - there would have been red flags to stop a chain of events that resulted in me funding a global money-laundering scheme out of *****. This wire was "lost" for several days (ideal time to ask questions) due to an upgrade in the bank wire system. If the first wire had been flagged, I would likely still have my house of +15 years, 401K and other financial assets. The local branch apologized and said what happened to me would not happen with the new bank wire protocols in place. Today, I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy to protect myself from Bank of America's collection agency, which filed a summons against me in superior court. I communicated my situation and legal case throughout. Despite being 100% transparent, I received zero support when I needed it most. US Citizens like myself bailed out big banks like Bank of America in 2008. Sad situation.

      HORRIBLE!!!! I set up bill pay online services, which they did their test run and it worked perfectly. I made my first payment and they suspended my account. After 3 phone calls, 2 of which they didn't even put in a work order after they said they did. THIER FIRST LIE! 2nd call they told me it was because of insufficient funds in my account... THEIR SECOND LIE- i called my bank to confirm this and they seen the BANK OF AMERICA PUT MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION IN INCORRECTLY missing a number at end of my account number. I waited the 5 business days and still nothing is corrected. Called the 3rd time and now currently waiting ANOTHER 5 BUSNIESS days. I'm `12 days in total and **** 4 hours wasted on phone trying to resolve this before my first payment is due. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using these guys....... Right now i would pay my bill in full and WALK AWAY from them, LIES! HORRIBLE SERVICE, JUST A OVERALL JOKE OF A BUSNIESS

      I experienced fraud in my account. I called and spoke with a claim specialist on April 4th and on April 9th they closed my claim saying theyve completed their investigation. How can you do an investigation in 5 days is beyond me. I immediately called and spoke with another representative and they laughed saying yes there is no way they did a true investigation and for me to write a letter to the claims department. They are allowing your account to be hacked and not doing anything about it.

      They wouldnt not take my check its a Bank of America check. The lady said the date on the check is due tomorrow. She will not take my check and deposit. Ive been depositing my check every Friday and its a Bank of America check theres no one to help you. She had a very very bad attitude. Ive been with Bank of America for many years. .

      I went in to open a Bank of America joint account and ********************************* Credit Solutions Advisor II Assistant ******************* ID: ******* was mumbling under his breath the whole time because its not my job to open new back account Im a credit advisor. We didnt have the physical ssn card with us and we advised its not necessary to have it if we had everything else and knew the number by heart. He went over to another cubicle, got some other guy to tell us that we had to leave. We werent going to be helped because we didnt have the information required. When I addressed him he ignored me and would only talk to my husband.

      Used to be a great bank but they've gone SO downhill. Don't use them! I'm a ******************************************************** to have some of my social security stolen through their app and they don't care at all. I'm opening a checking and savings with Chase tomorrow and happily closing my account with ***

      I cant believe the amount of time it has taken for Bank of America to send over a verification of mortgage to MACU that my sons bank has requested from them going on 45 plus days. Going to call again for the third time to see if I can get the information needed for my son.

      Horrible overall experience. I have been with B of A for about a year and a half. It is next to impossible to get any of my questions answered. I have a debit card with them but have not been able to get an access code from either online or in-bank help. Just today, someone from BofA changed my password and I am not able to access my account online. I am disillusioned and disgusted with both the bank's overall philosophy and customer service. I doubt that that with care, but I will be pulling my business from them and going to *************** very soon.

      Do not get your finances imbedded in this company!Last month due to an anomaly in my account they canceled my debit card. I was out of access for a week. This month I had another anomaly and I called their security. I specifically told them I did not want to cancel my card. I would delete my online virtual card and generate a new one. I went to use my card at a local store the next day and it didn't work. I checked online and they had canceled it again. If they want to verify that, the security call was recorded as I was informed when I made the call.This company is a hassle!Next Day:I visited the bank and I had to get cash to cover expenses.I have no card and no way to pay bills:I got home and received this response by email:"We wanted to let you know about your credit line change as soon as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We want to make sure you understand how this change could affect you and what you can expect.We'll be sending you a separate letter by mail to explain why we made this change. Please read it carefully. It provides you with more detailed information.What the change means:Your new total credit line is $xxxx. Your new cash credit line, which is a portion of the total credit line, is $xxxx."Saturday a week later:No card in the mail today! The first time they canceled my card I got it by the following Saturday. This time they delayed in mailing it out and only mailed it out after I submitted the "next day" comment above. When they mailed it out, is was at night after the mail day was lost. I know this because they notify you when it is sent.I have no other source of cash except my credit card which they have restricted. Also, cash by credit card is expensive!
