Broadscope reports that it serves disabled individuals and their families through its respite program, independent living program, and employment services program. The organization states that its respite program helps families with children with disabilities find caregivers to give families a break from care giving duties. Broadscope advertises for the caregiver and provides background checks. The organization's independent living program supports adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible by providing training in activities of daily living. Broadscope reports that its employment services program places persons with disabilities in community based jobs. In 2016, the organization states that it provided 811 families with respite services, with 163 of those families being single-parent households. In addition, Broadscope reports that it provided 112 individuals with employment services and 93 individuals with education services and training to allow them to live independently.
