Programs

              

Utah Food Bank distributed close to 32 million meals last year via a statewide network of 141 partner agencies located in all 29 counties in the state. In addition to being one of only a handful of food banks that distributes food free-of-cost to partner agencies, it also offers several direct service programs. Programs aimed at childhood hunger include Kids Cafe (326,080 weeknight meals served at after school programs); BackPack Program (61,220 kids weekend backpacks full of food distributed); and Mobile School Pantry (234,000 individuals reached, over 130,000 of whom were children). Direct services aimed at senior hunger include the Food Box Program, through which it distributed over 41,000 boxes of food to homebound seniors and people with disabilities). In addition, Utah Food Bank reached close to 62,000 clients with Mobile Pantry services in areas that are underserved by traditional brick-and-mortar pantries.
