Programs

              

CCS aims to eliminate societal conditions that condone and perpetuate relationship violence, sexual assault, and stalking, and to promote safety, justice, and healing for those impacted by these crimes. The organization offers prevention education and outreach to youth at schools, colleges, universities, community based organizations, youth groups and juvenile detention centers. CCS also offers 24-hour bilingual crisis hotline, 24-hour accompaniment to forensic exams for survivors of sexual assault, and 24-hour short-term emergency shelters for domestic violence victims and their children. In addition, the organization offers transitional housing, legal services, advocacy court accompaniment and on-going client services, support groups, and individual, child, and family counseling. CCS operates out of nine locations in San Diego County, and the organization reports that it operates the only Rape Crisis Center in the city of San Diego and most of the county.
