The National Kidney Foundation of Indiana, Inc. is a statewide organization working with a small staff and over 400 volunteers to prevent kidney diseases, through screenings, research and public, patient and professional education. One person out of 8 has kidney disease and most do not know it, therefore it educates persons about causes and prevention. It strives to "Make Lives better" for individuals and families impacted by these diseases through patient programs, education and services. One of its goals is to increase donations of all organs for transplantation.
