Programs

              

It funds 74 different programs covering five different service areas; including: programs for children, senior citizens, basic needs, health services, and health counseling. It has an Evaluation & Investment Committee (E&I), a group of 51 community volunteers, who meet with agency directors and volunteers for nearly 800 hours to review outcomes and evaluate how donor dollars will be used in fiscal year 2013. Donors who give to United Way of Lake County can be assured that their dollars are going to where they are most needed and where they will have the most impact. They can also be assured their donations stay in Lake County. All programs funded through United Way of Lake County must meet a high priority, make a positive impact, and be effective and efficient.
