United Way of Metropolitan Chicago changes the story for individuals and families in 58 communities of greatest need through support and interventions in education, income and health, the building blocks of self-sufficiency and quality of life. Through our LIVE UNITED 2020 community-impact plan, we’re committed to ensuring 50,000 underperforming middle schools students enter high school ready to succeed, advance economic stability for 100,000 households, connect more than 200,00 people with available, preventative health services, and answer the immediate crisis needs of 1 million people every year.
