Wood Dale Historical Society's acquire and report on the history of the town and area of Wood Dale and Bensenville, etc., and to educate present and future generations on the past life and its effects on the present and the future.

Programs
Wood Dale Historical Society’s principal service programs are in the fall of the year and early spring, they have school classrooms (Kindergarten, 1st grade and NEDSRA students) come into the museum for part of the day to learn about the museum, history of the area and/or to make crafts. They run various events during the year Flea Market (35 to 45 booths), Harvest Fest( 20 craft booths and 800 to 1000 attend), Ghost Stories(hayrides - 200-300 att.), Holiday events for fundraising and set up displays in the local library to show the community's past life styles 4 to 6 times a yr.
